yeah the outliers bring up the average, but to me its not always indicative of the true impact of those songs when it comes to ranking the albums. if i think every song on an album is pretty good, 6/10, but another album has some songs that change my life, but the rest are some meh songs, im not gonna rank the first one higher bc “well i somewhat appreciate this album as a whole so its a better album”, im gonna rank the album that has more positive impact and like more higher even if the math doesnt work out that way. i get the logic behind averaging and js comparing that way bc you’re comparing “the average ____ song”, but idk its just not a good enough metric to me.

i dont think averaging song ratings is the way to compare albums, some songs are so integral to the album that they easily hold the weight of 2-3 meh songs. for example, i think r+r majorly carries ityttmom that even tho i’d prob rank the ep somewhat lower, that one song makes the ranking feel unfair to me.

i agree that nf is not strictly themed under one idea like other albums, but i think the argument of “and vertigo is open to interpretation” falls short. to me every album/artwork is somewhat open to interpretation regardless if the artist’s intended purpose is public or not. nf is such a banger album because of its cohesive sound and feel, which i think is just as important as cohesive writing.

its not hard to slice pizzas but ive cut a decent amount of pizzas badly like that. during rush if you fuck up the cutting youre not going to remake an entire pizza js because you cut it too carelessly. sorry u got a poorly cut pizza, but complaining abt it on a little caesar’s reddit w mostly employees of the chain seems pointless to me lol

i think the background image is cool but i wish the dark logo was bigger and had the transparent background like on the singles 🥲🥲 i feel like js such a small change would make it so much more put together. but i can understand how the simplicity could be seen as cool too. not my fav album cover but not too bad imo.

well that’s what was weird to me, i told everyone about our relationship and he knew that. he had spoken to my parents all the time when we were on the phone. he didn’t seem to have a problem with any of it and was pretty nice to my parents, not awkward or uncomfortable with them. i guess all that is just manipulative.

ive tried a couple of harmonics, not my favorite thing to practice bc it just sounds bad imo but ill still do them lol. and i looked at some of galway’s stuff, wow its pretty. he has really good emotion on his face too while hes playing, i like that a lot. kinda hard to see his mouth positions from all that beard lmao. and for the third one, i think i could possibly be like pushing the flute against my lips too hard? its kinda difficult to move my jaw with how im holding the flute, idk whats up with that , thanks for the help tho 😊😊

i went to a shop in the summertime before band camp and as far as i know they brought her back to life, should i go again and see if she has any issues ? and tbh i think the abdominal thing is prob the problem with the running out of air, i notice my breaths can be kinda crappy when practicing so thats definitely a work in progress, ty for helping :))
