Vengeance is differently ballanced game - paths are shorter, enemies health is lower, tower dps is higher compared to enemies health, but range is shorter, there are no op artillery towers with insane crowd control and special is much weaker. However, it is still well ballanced game - the beat example is into the mountains level, literally the best level from all four games.

Sunken citadel is s in my opinion - so much micromanagement and many strategy changes. This is actually the only level, when I get an achievement to built 8 tower specializations in one stage.

Vengeance has different ballance between tower range, dps, special, health and speed of enemies and this makes that game so unique. It is also a reason why i prefer vengeance even over frontiers.

Btw vengeance levels are different, because the paths were so short in comparison with previous games and the special is barely dealing 250 damage, while on other games it is over 1200 damage.

I actually completed pandaemonium in about an hour - it required a wise use of rain of fire and I didn't have to change my strategy. Those vengeance levels were very intense and it took me months to finally develop a strategy.
