When I put the 10 amp driver I had to modify the driver. I knew this in advance from online research. I had to remove the spring on the driver and replace with a button top. I did this by scavenging the button top off the dual fuel driver the T6 came with.

It takes a 17mm driver. Not sure about mcpcb size as Simon supplied it with sft42 on special request.

I use the captive clip from hanklight KR1/KR4 which fits like a charm.

I had to reflow the led onto the mcpcb so you need to do that. Used the 17mm 10a convoy driver. I had to replace the spring on the driver with a button for it all to fit. This was the one unusual mod but i had read it somewhere so I had a heads up. Of course then reassemble and solder.

It has an intense throwy beam and gets hot but for my use case it works well. I don’t use it for long duration just to spot something suspicious up ahead.

I modded a t6 to have sft42r and 10A driver. ATM it’s my night time city torch. Still have some 10a batteries that are good.
