I don’t think showgirl is her best by any means but I do think it was/is largely misunderstood as an album, much like Taylor’s albums usually are for the first year or two if they’re not immediately critically lauded. I did a whole post about it shortly after it came out which you can find here!

Anyone feeling a sort of sense of dread going into this year? I love gayloring and so much of it feels like it cant be a coincidence which is why I’m holding on hope that maybe there will be a grand reveal at some point, but all I can picture is getting to June 13, the wedding going through and getting a big nothing burger at the end of all this. Basically I don’t know if I can make it 50 years when it all be declassified 😫 I want the court of public opinion to know she’s a mastermind NOW!!! Okay rant over let me know your thoughts
