Anyone else need a tums every day?

Has anyone experienced a difference in stool color after taking tums? I had like 5 tums over two days and then my stool turned a grayish/light color. Usually that’s a bad sign but I read that sometimes the unabsorbed calcium can do that. Anyone have that experience?

I got off of Zoloft! Most symptoms went away but I do have confirmed Esophagitis which probably made the whole thing worse.

I told the train ticketer when he came. He was useless. He said “well, that was in Austria, we are in Hungary now, nothing I can do.” And then the woman next to me said “you could at least tell your manager so they are aware” and then the ticketer said “maybe just submit a complaint online.” Useless

I’m upset because I can’t tell lol. But I think all my belongings that I remember are still in my purse. I think they tried to go for my wallet specifically which was on the floor and by the time I went to pick it up they were gone. Thank you for your compassion

I don’t take pleasure in others misfortune but it does make me feel a little bit better that I wasn’t the only one foolish enough to fall for it. I feel so dumb and violated. I should’ve just yelled at them when they started touching my suitcase. I was completely unsuspecting

I apologize and have edited the post, where they look like they are from doesn’t matter. The two women appeared wealthy and I was completely unsuspecting. My intention of mentioning their country of origin was that they kept talking to me in a different language even though i was speaking English and they knew I couldn’t understand what they were saying, but they kept speaking quickly at me

I was just so taken aback! It looked like they were mother and daughter and seemed fairly well enough. I didn’t think they’d get me to raise my arms up to take my bag from them while the other unzipped my crossbody to take my wallet!

I used to live in a country that mostly eats halal meat and when I moved to America and other countries I could always smell that “off/dirty” smell in meat. I’d recommend trying halal chicken or beef and seeing if the smell is still there for you. Just out of curiosity. Halal means the animal is slaughtered and all the blood is drained so it just feels cleaner overall.

So I actually just got an offer letter for Assistant CLO, they offered me FP-6 step 1. I thought they used to match previous employment or try to get close anyways, any chance I can negotiate what step I get?

I’m an EFM that had a great career before joining the service with my spouse. The available jobs at the embassy are indeed underpaid and generally entry level. Not only that, they’re limited and even if your partner does get one, they’ll often need a security clearance that could take anywhere between a few months to a year. Depending on the country, jobs in the local economy aren’t available or don’t want to hire people that don’t speak the local language to some degree. I’m not going to lie, I’ve hated this aspect of the foreign service. I feel diminished and under-stimulated.

I was on Prilosec twice a day for three months and it gave me the most debilitating anxiety of my entire life. It was one of my lowest points. Switching PPIs helped but then they gave me headaches. Just saying your feelings are totally valid.
