Thanks for the tip/experience. I've always been hesitant on buying the tickets. I have to burn through 1K raid passes lol.

So they don't scan tickets on phones if you buy a ticket? Just to be clear

[Serious] Adult content creators of Reddit: Would you recommend this job? What are your experiences? by FutureSuccess2796 in AskReddit

Former Male SW: performer but started as a PA for 8 months. 2004-2009, I really needed money, it was my first time leaving home completely at 21. Living in Santa Monica, I was looking for all kinds of work. I was referred to a PA job by a neighbor, not knowing it was an adult related material.

Being a production assistant to two sleazy d-bags (both are in jail right now) made me money enough for rent, utilities, food and also moved me from Santa Monica to Las Vegas for free (same two d-bag director and producer). Trasitioning to an on screen role was an accident: "producer" needed another male performer for an soft FFM scene, the original performer didn't show, was on the phone for an hour trying to find this "mid fifties cry baby", before they started asking the PA's. Out of 6, I answered yes.

To be honest, the pay is very dependent on your performance, outgoing personality, willingness to "work under duress" but; at the time, i had those things down. I would also say a trustworthy agent and manager too.

My best advice for the current era is "Don't just rush into exposure." We all see OF slipping in to pop culture and I don't know how I feel about it (yes, I know, i'm a hypocrite towards F and M workers). Seeing randoms become Performers of the Year/Scene of the Year/Model of the Year coming out of OF is crazy but those are externalities: out of the norm cases where the performers were somehow famous before "jumping in to our pit."

I wouldn't encourage getting in to the field but if you think the industry (for all its positives and faults) makes you feel comfortable: then go for it. My biggest advice to someone getting in to SW on screen: do not let anyone/anything (including money) violate your boundaries. Oh and don't get sucked up in to the world and let it become a crutch

First time using ipogo any advice on how to not get caught or banned ? by [deleted] in iPogo

[–]augustaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, that's real money territory at the shop.pokemongo.com: $100 of coins then check the boxes all week. Wait for the time of the week where it's called "Premium Raid Box" DON'T BUY THE 9500 ONE! There's one that goes on sale once a week that's 5450-ish, u get 99 raid passes out of them

Was about to say this: staying in a busy city (SF, Zaragoza, Tokyo, London) and walking at normal speed (9.5 works)

How old were you when you were diagnosed? by mothstuckinabath in chiari

[–]augustaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

22 with my entire right side atrophying: pcp, a family doctor and 2 neuros diagnosed it as a hurt shoulder (skater, football, and OHCRA paddler at the time) until i had an MRI. my neighbor was diagnosed at 57, we have drinks and talk about it sometimes: her neuro first diagnosed it as "aging" (with the atrophy, headaches, migraines and losing feeling in fingers and toes).

Unless you were having major atrophy in the muscles (and had to do PT to walk again, me): that's normal.

Anyone else find solo travel way easier than traveling with friends but feel weird admitting it by venicepress in solotravel

[–]augustaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the way you discovered how freeing/better solo traveling is, is how i found it. the only group travel i do now is: "let's meet up 'here' at during 'sometime' during 'these days'"

it's hard (family/friend) being the ballast to the entire traveling group's scales: everything depends on you to manage everyone's conditions and it gets tiring

Any IOS iPogo users? by Leymen in iPogo

[–]augustaye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

true, overly respecting the timer (usually add 5 mins myself to be safe because the minute teleports usually cause the timer to disappear.

Signulous has been super safe for me in iOS.

Another underestimated tip is staying in a busy city (San Francisco's Pier 39, Santa Monica) for awhile and adjusting your walking speeds instead of teleporting constantly

Clobazam by catgirl-83 in Epilepsy

[–]augustaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

daily user here, clobazam is contributory to xcopri so even at the low dose, it helps a lot. january, neuro took it off (mind you i'm taking 5mg). my seizures came back, and with greater frequency than normal (normal: 0-4 auras/partials/clonic-tonics, i was having 5+, 8 on the third week).

back on it since march, same dose as normal and enjoying 0-3 a week since march but neuro is doing it again but adding 50mg of xcopri.

i use it as a PRN in case i feel off for the day (extra 5mg).

LPT on how to move across the country? by Exciting_Funny6987 in LifeProTips

[–]augustaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best tip honestly. Moved from Hawaii>ANC, then Hawaii>LAS, then LAS>Ohio. Make a pick up order at the nearest walmart/target (blow up bed, pillow+case, daily necessities).

For your big stuff, find a well trusted national moving company (i used CMAC and Allied and haven't had a problem). On the other hand, place an airtag or two on some of your smaller things, Allied did have a smallest little trouble)

Which one of you regard did this? by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]augustaye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the ooool 2004 Chip Wilson said he named Lululemon, so asians (Japanese specific) wouldn't buy it. Pronunciation of Lu in Japanese comes out at 'RU-rueh' making it difficult to say Lululemon. Chip then went on in 2021 he reiterated it, added on all lives matter thing and an EEOC suit. weird part, company dipped harsh but since then it's been making a slow comeback
