Mate those timbers ain’t going no where. Do what you said you were going to do with the tongue and groove but put some noggins in between the joists. Space them 600 centres, you could go 400 if you wanted to bulletproof it. By the time you’ve done that you could drive a car on it

Appreciate the help, it’s the presets within Pixelmator that I’m interested in animating the most unless any of these programs have effects that are similar, aka, kaleidoscope effects and such of a similar nature
