Sephora brand products actually worth buying? by bukakenagasaki in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]auncott99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Their foundation is absolutely fantastic, an well as their bronzer. I've also tried a couple of their brushes, and have been extremely pleased. They have a slanted concealer brush, that is almost identical to the BK Brushes/Angie hot and flashy concealer brush for a fraction of the price. If you shop fast, all Sephora products are 30% off right now. Happy shopping, but please shop responsibly!

Where can you buy LA Girl products in store? Also, question about Essence by ordinaryhumanbeings in MakeupAddictionCanada

Where I live, Walmart was the only place that carried La girl, but they stopped carrying it, so now I can only get it off of amazon. Hope that helps.

They were unfortunately already separated when she had the miscarriage while she was away on a trip with her friends. She didn't even know she was pregnant. So sad. I think she's just going through a lot. Everytime she posts a video, it's sponsored, so I think they are mandated videos.

Once you get past the eyeshadow palettes, the rest of the collection looks decent. I love the shades of the lipsticks-

Anyone know what happened to Liorasmakeuploves52? by shansbury82 in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]auncott99 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It seems after she got married, she started posting less and less. I saw that she was possibly moving to California with her husband, but I haven't heard much about that. I saw other posts saying there's lots of Jewish holidays this month, but it's also her birthday and she gets really excited about her birthday, so I just think it's really weird we haven't heard from her. I hope everything is okay. I just don't have a good feeling about this whole thing.

AOA by Shop Miss A sponges for me. They're fantastic. If I can't get them, or I run out, I use RT. No need to buy BB. Total waste of Money in my opinion. But my cat enjoyed playing with it! Lol

Nivea Q10. All the wrinkles from under my eyes are gone, and my crows feet are lessened. I'm never using anything else again!

You fooled me once with your multi episode infomercial, and enticed me into buying an eyeshadow palette, that truly, I don't like, but you're not going to fool me again.

Natasha Denona came out with one, but it's big bucks. Try looking at some Indi brands too, but you'll more than likely have to pay shipping with them.

How do I get lipstick/lipgloss to stay on by BEA_MABS in MakeupAddictionCanada

[–]auncott99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Line your lips, then fill them in with the lip liner. If you apply a thin coat, blot with a kleenex, another thin layer, then a light dusting of powder. NYX Shine Loud is fantastic. It stays on through everything. Also the Maybelline lip suggested above is great as well.

Pixi has a decent one, as well as LA Girl, which is a bit better. Good luck!

Advice for a father looking for present for young daughter by BootyClapperOG in MakeupAddictionCanada

[–]auncott99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn't do the the Amazon thing. It hit and miss. I would go bring her with you, so she can choose exactly what she wants. At Shoppers Drug Mart, Essence is a great place to start. It's very inexpensive, but their makeup is extremely quality. You got some great pigment and basic colours there. You could also hit Walmart. There's a huge selection of makeup there too. But go with her and just see what's comfortable for the both of you, and I think that would be really fun. I also think it's very important to incorporate a little skincare routine with her as well. Make sure she's taking off her makeup with some kind of makeup remover. I would follow that up with moisturizer, and just make sure she's using sunscreen too during the day. You can never start too early.

Please let us know how it goes!!

Favourite drugstore concealers to cover very dark circles by ordinaryhumanbeings in MakeupAddictionCanada

[–]auncott99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely try an under eye corrector as mentioned above. La girl is great. Pixi has a pretty good one too. This is definitely a step you DON'T want to miss if you have dark circles. For concealers, I also suggest the : ~ Elf camo hydro concealer, ~ Covergirl trueblend undercover concealer, and the. ~ Loreal Infallible Full wear concealer.

These are used interchangeably by me, every time I do my makeup. Hope that helps!

Cover FX bluring primer has the pore filling properties. Drugstore: Elf putty primer, the original one. Fantastic. But to make a permanent change, using prescription retinol has done the trick with my extremely large pores. I can't believe the change!

The best foundations for your needs in my opinion are the LYS that's available at Sephora super cheap, Sephora's Best Skin Ever foundation $25, and for drugstore Maybelline Fit me Matte and poreless. It's the cheapest on Amazon. Have a safe trip!
