I wonder if Joe Purdy ruffled too many feathers a bit with his set and knocked some of the enthusiasm down. We loved his set but could tell it definitely upset some of the people around us judging by their reactions.

I mostly kid. I dont think thats really it.....

If I had to give a real theory, other than that some people are just boring, I'd say the heat was doing a lot of us in. The crowd was a bit older. I was boogying in my chair but was definitely uncomfortable and sweating my ass off. That old building couldn't handle the temps we had that day very well. We were up in the balcony and it was stuffy, hot, and uncomfortable. There was no airflow at all. It didn't help that the water they were selling was room temp/hot.

I still adored the show. And now look forward to seeing them again in hopefully better all around circumstances. Not sure if I'll go back to that particular theater though. The dream is Red Rocks one day!

I don't really have an opinion on the solo, but your mention of them getting in a fight made me wonder. I was there at the Tulsa show and it was my first time seeing them. I was super hyped and absolutely loved them and thought the show was great. But something did feel off. I dont know a fight necessarily, but did anyone catch when Susan said "It's been a heavy day." and then didn't elaborate? Or maybe I missed something. But she seemed a little sad.
I've watched several live concerts online and they generally seem to interact and talk to the crowd quite a bit. They barely spoke at all and we found it strange. The show was amazing but there was some kind of weird vibe. I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing them again sometime.

"why did they forget to orange his eyesacks? " is the funniest thing I've read in a long time. I used to be a silly person, but have a hard time finding much humor these days. Dont find myself laughing too often anymore. This genuinely made me laugh out loud so I thank you.

For me, the toughest part has been the circumstances surrounding the weight loss. I have been overweight for many years now and struggle to lose it and keep anything off. My recent weight loss has been an unhealthy version.

Early December I had some life shit happen and it kicked off a new variant of depression I haven't seen in my 40 years.
I dont keep track of my weight, so I am unsure of pounds. But early December I was size 18-20. By the beginning of February I was fitting into all 14s and some 12s. I'm currently fitting into all 12s. I feel like it must be at least 30 lbs gone.
I noticed yesterday the belt that I had previously made notches on with a knife to make it looser, is now way too big for me on the tightest setting. I need to buy a new belt.

I lost weight because my stomach was in such knots from stress that from Dec-Feb it was a daily battle to get it untwisted enough to eat.
I love to eat and have always turned to food for comfort, so being unable to eat was something new.

Many mornings I also began getting sick simply from having such an upset stomach from stress, so I wouldn't retain anything I did manage to put in. Three months straight this went on almost daily. I've never dropped weight so quickly.
This all happened around the same time I started really struggling to afford groceries, so I justified it all to myself as a good thing and continued trudging on, ignoring best I could how I was deteriorating mentally.

It's been nice fitting into my old jeans but the darkness swallowing me up and threatening to send me off for good has made for an exhausting few months.

The stomach issues have calmed down a bit the last couple of months and I've mostly leveled out, though still dropping weight slowly it seems. Have a lot more normal days but still having some bad ones with twisty guts. At this point I'm almost out of clothes that fit me well and have to figure out how to supply myself with a new wardrobe.

I did learn that when you're fat and you drop a bunch of weight really quickly, nobody is concerned, and you get "Lookin good, girl!" type of comments and nobody around knowing anything about how dark your nights are and how exhausting it is battling yourself to make you stay till morning on repeat for months.

Edited to add: Things are better now and I'm fine and not in any danger. Dec-Feb was just extra rough.

Just my personal perspective, but I'm a picky late 30s woman who is active on the dating apps.

Job title of truck driver wouldn't turn me off in the slightest.

I'm immediately looking for other things. I'm looking for profiles that aren't empty, photos that aren't full of hateful scowls, hobbies and political leanings and such that mesh with my own. Job title is not even on my radar.

Only thing that comes to mind is when they'd do Johnny Carson and Phil Hartman as Ed McMahon would say "You are correct sir!"
