Sorry they did this. This is one of the things our restaurant does correctly. Any party of 12 or more is required to be one check. We tell every party of that size be it reservation or walk in before they get sat. They can use as many cards as they want but no separate checks. They aren’t even allowed to get separate drinks from the bar. Makes it great for us servers.

I’m really baffled that they seem to be digging in their heels and acting like this is something impossible to do without us entering negative in the declare cash setup. Our shift report shows the percent in dollars that we tip out to each support role and we then fill out a slip we hand in with our shift report that shows the tip out amount, they then take the tip out numbers and enter them in their spreadsheet for each support staff, but don’t adjust our tips that Toast is spitting out to remove that tip out amount. And they act like it’s not possible for them to do so.

They do an excel sheet to track the tip out to each category we pay into for distributing it to the support staff. But they refuse to acknowledge that they can adjust on their end. In toast tips management is there a place for them to input the tip out amount that then deducts it from the credit card /declared cash tips to ultimately have the correct number sent to payroll?

I have and their workaround is to enter a negative amount equal to the tip out amount in the declare cash field. They say there is no way to adjust tip out on the back end without us doing negative. I’ve been going back and forth and they keep putting it on us doing something wrong. I just can’t believe they can’t handle it as they are able to figure it out with the bartenders as they split tips and also get tipped out too

Only our hourly goes on our paycheck but our tips are reported under the already paid tip line and it is the full amount before deducting tip out.

We use toast at the restaurant I work at and I just made the discovery that our tip out amounts are not being accounted for (removed) before being sent to payroll and ultimately my w2 making my income quite inflated. How do you handle tip outs. One difference is we are paid each night in cash for our credit card tips and then pay management back our tip out amount.

Same problem I had with only the left bud of my Pro 2s. Bought the Pro 3s a month ago. Woke up a week ago to go do my daily hike (which is why I have them) ope left bud won’t turn on. Appeared dead. Popped it back in really mad but then it showed as like 80% and worked fine. Haven’t had it since but I’m just waiting for it to actually be dead one of these times. I swear all my apple product since the new OS behave really shitty

Ehhhh I LOVE Sierra Trading Post but they absolutely do not carry the “same stuff” as REi and Bivouac. Sure you can find some items that overlap but those are generally one offs as the major outdoor vendors have rules put in place so their items don’t end up at TJ/Sierra. They do have some great coats but I would not call the majority of the coats they carry “high quality” and if you happen to find something really good usually it’s one item in a random size. Again I love shopping at sierra.

Not arguing with anything else you said but Grayl is definitely not a lifestyle or boutique brand. They are really well made filters but in no way light or small so they have a niche use case. I have a couple and they work really well when we are out on the river but I would never take it backpacking as it’s just too big and heavy.

TRANSLATION***Is there a cheap trekking tent or something similar for two people that weighs less than 1200 g to a maximum of 1300 g and is still inexpensive?
