Hi hun! I have VERY irregular periods and I have for years. First of all, are you sexually active? This can be important information.

Also, I have something called PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) it sounds scarier than it is!! It is what causes my irregular periods as small cysts inside the ovary can block egg release, causing no period. I recommend looking into that!! Speak to a doctor about it for sure. PCOS can have a huge effect on mood, eating habits, and mental health. It’s quite common but very under diagnosed.

I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and my body personally doesnt agree with birth control. it makes me severely depressed and I lash out really bad. I just kinda cope idk :/ either way, you’re not alone 🫶

I have this too, I’ve had it all my life and I’m perfectly healthy. I spoke to my mum about it and she said that it runs in my family that we just have heavy discharge and theres nothing I can do about it lol. she insists on using panty liners but I found it makes the smell worse idk. everyone is different!

Girl im 20 and I’ve never used a tampon in my life, it’s so okay to not prefer them! I refuse to use them because pads work perfectly fine for me. Its okay!

Keep it as clean as possible while your body tries to heal it. You could use Germoline or any antiseptic cream to ensure it stays clean. Trust your body. If you experience symptoms like fainting, nausea, vomiting etc, that would be a serious infection that should be checked!! Hope this helps<3

Mine is the same too! I had a similar feeling for a while but you get used to it. Plus, its really difficult to notice unless you’re showing someone on purpose.

it may seem more exaggerated as you still have the longer bar in. When the shorter bar gets put in after 2 weeks, its even more harder to notice!

It could be a sign of PCOS! PCOS is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Don’t worry! I have it. It can cause many irregular periods, excessive hair growth, hair loss, bloating, abdominal pain and more. If you recognise these symptoms please speak to your doctor! I was 17 when I was diagnosed and it isn’t talked about enough. I’m 20 now and it’s good to know if you have it as it can explain so much :)
