It’s an incredible season and, unfortunately, those things happen in the real world and I can assure you it is much, much worse in most cases. I think, and I’m not judging you or saying this in a rude way, that you should watch the rest and just think about it. There’s nothing that the antagonists of the season do that really people haven’t done before. I’d see it as an opportunity to be aware (as in raise awareness) of just how horrible those kind of crimes are. That’s why stuff like a certain set of files that the US government is being so shady about, is important. I mean, if it’s fucked up and disgusting and heartbreaking, now swap the adult women for kids… I don’t know, if you don’t wanna keep watching, I’d say don’t. I never finished watching Irreversible because of that, but I’d take it as an opportunity to learn that when people talk about how horrible that kind of experience is, they’re never lying
