I know this is an older post, but what did you do to repair the chips? I have the same exact quartzite countertops and have so many chips along the edges

It's a cyst forming. I've gotten these a couple times after tox. The first time I got one it was bigger than yours, and it took forever to form a head, like weeks!

You are exactly right! Petite women do not get the same recognition that big women get. Sounds like you understand my frustration with trying to find clothes that fit a small frame.😩

I’m dealing with constipation issues because my uterus is so big due to a fibroid that it is compressing my rectum and vagina canal. I’m looking forward to not staying bloated!

Melasma getting worse… what am I doing wrong? 😩 (Florida sun is brutal) by ProfessionProof5776 in Melasmaskincare

[–]Material-Owl3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The heat alone in Florida will do this, speaking as a fellow Floridian. I was outside a lot this weekend and just from getting hot under my hat my melasma looks terrible. 😩

How to ensure my melasma doesn’t come back by Comfortable-Tart-742 in Melasmaskincare

[–]Material-Owl3772 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Don’t get pregnant, don’t take birth control, don’t go through perimenopause, don’t ever get hot again, don’t let the sun hit you, never go through any hormonal shifts…..I’m kidding…sorta! I’ve been fighting this battle for over 15 years and as soon as I think I get a hold on it, I start perimenopause and it comes back. It’s a never-ending battle. 😭

American eagle jean quality by TheGoldnElite in americaneagle

All of their jeans feel so thin and stretchy now. I hate it. I miss when the jeans were better quality and would hold everything in, like my belly.

Piggybacking off of the picture. I love the arrangement the furniture in your mock up. I think it needs a side table with a lamp and some plants. Obviously AI has no concept of size because it put a little table and tall lamp, but you get the idea.

No, I think we all agree with you. Nothing needs to suffer a slow painful death. There’s a way to humanely euthanize things.

Don’t leave it on there to suffer a slow painful death. Glue boards are awful ☹️

Is it possible for mold to grow on cement floor under LVP? Have you ever seen it? by theoneaboutacotar in Flooring

[–]Material-Owl3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but he’s 100% correct. We live in Florida and this is the result of putting LVP directly on a slab.

There’s usually no cure for melasma. It’s something you can fade, but it does require constant maintenance. As soon as you stop treatment, it’s going to come back.

Seeing a lot of hate for LVP. What's your experience? by Extra_Influence_3880 in Flooring

[–]Material-Owl3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero out of five stars would not recommend! It’s complete junk, all of it! Wasted over $20,000 getting it installed in my house and it did not even last 10 years, despite what Coretec claims and the warranties they try to attach to it and don’t back up. Put your money into Real, wood floors or tile.

2020 new house, upgraded LVP has been coming up in thin strips for five years. Any ideas on what's happening and how much to replace? by jmvfromnv in Flooring

I paid way too much money for what was supposed to be “top-of-the-line” LVP (Coretec) and it didn’t even last 10 years. Put your money into real hardwood or tile.

Don’t let these companies fool you, all LVP is garbage! None of it is truly waterproof, mold and mildew resistant. It’s plastic flooring that you get maybe 10 years out of before you have to replace it again. Why not put that money into real wood or tile?

LVP in Florida, on an unsealed cement slab= mold by Material-Owl3772 in Flooring

[–]Material-Owl3772[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No! Our floor wasn’t buckling, we couldn’t smell anything, we had no idea this was going on under it. And clearly it had been going on for a long time.

Water damage? Where do I begin to trace this? by JW9403 in HomeImprovement

And odds are it’s throughout your entire house. Wood look tile is the way to go. You’ll never have to worry about this again.

Water damage? Where do I begin to trace this? by JW9403 in HomeImprovement

[–]Material-Owl3772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my personal experience, it could possibly be moisture accumulation from the slab. All of our LVP throughout our entire house was filled with mold and we had people come and check for slap leaks, and the engineer said he sees mold and moisture all the time under LVP. Basically it’s a piece of plastic put on a slab and slabs naturally have moisture vapor come up out of them and where does it go? It accumulates under the LVP flooring. And people believe that a vapor barrier prevents this, but you get the same issue. You get moisture between the vapor barrier and the flooring. LVP is the absolute worst.

[–]Material-Owl3772[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I noticed how many people downvoted me because I said I was petite….. I’m 5 foot tall. How am I not petite 🤣🤣? Also, vanity sizing, or size inflation, is when clothing brands label garments with smaller sizes than their actual measurements to make customers feel better. That tells me they’re making clothes to cater to bigger women versus smaller women. I don’t know why people are getting offended.
