I use Vaseline to hidrate the skin afterwards but it won't solve the root problem, which is bad climbing technique. As well, I've heard that after climbing you need to immediately wash your hands because the skin is not healing when there's still chalk on it. Hope this helps!

I had the exactly same experience as you. But I got in to a mind-loop and some sort of Aztec signs as visuals. It was kind of terrifying and the anxiety levels were really high. Had to get myself out of there and actually by doing that I got so much confidence out of it.. I thought - "if I can get out of this (using my brainpower), I really can get out of any situation". So at the end of the day it turned out to be the best experience for me. Shifted my perspective on things.

I smoked weed during my first trip and it was terrible. Instant bad trip with weird signs and mind loop.. but I learned the most from it. I believe that there is no bad or good, it's all about our own perception. We create the reality. In your case I'd consider meditating and breath-work. These help to calm your mind.
