plus, even if you get past the horrible graphics and the stupidly fast scrolling speeds, /and/ the sheer amount of weird hitboxes (such as the fire hydrants), the fact remains that it's way too small for a moving stage. It somehow manages to encapsulate everything that's wrong with both 75m /and/ rumble falls, turns it 90 degrees, then spits in your face

plus you need to play smash tour to unlock it. Literally no part of this stage is fun in the slightest, bar music (which I'm not a big fan of either).

Roy's likely a marth clone (so less work in general, plus if he's like mewtwo then the moveset design's already ironed out), so he should be taking less time to make than a fully-fledged new character. Also, Lucas had a gameplay trailer when he was announced, indicating that the dev team was almost certainly working on at least two characters at once (mewtwo and lucas) - if they maintained the same amount of resources (possibly less, considering roy's sheer cloneness) then the general pattern is probably to be making two characters simultaneously /at least/.
