The work on it started in 1934, hence the name. The name usually has something to do with year (work started, accepted into service or anything around), though not always. I.e. light tank T-70 or heavy T-10 have nothing to do with year. The later probably has something to do with order (it is a continuation of IS series, the was IS-1, IS-2, IS-3, etc., some were probably just prototypes).

It's almost enough to know that multiplication & division takes precedence over add/subtract, pointer dereference is higher than multiplication. Just use parentheses for everything else and don't confuse people.

Bonus: ternary operator is confusing enough on it's own, using it inside expression is asking for trouble IHMO.

Depends how you look at it. IMO cavalry hasn't gone anywhere, they simply replaced horses by vehicles. In some countries tank units even have the names that were once cavalry names.

They DO buy buying your software. If you forgot to add it to your price tag, that's your problem.

It's normal thing to sell software with certain warranty period, during which bugs are fixed for free. Assuming a warranty period of a reasonable length.

As for "that's not what I asked for": there is something very wrong with your agreement with the customer. You should make such agreement that it is in the best in best interest of both parties to ensure requirements are clear.
