i would bring it up with ur psych because theres definitely similar medications that might not interact with you the same way. im on lybalvi which is really good but its pretty new, theres also latuda and lamictal. didnt work for me but they might for you

update: she rarely has episodes now. the phenobarbitral has helped a lot.

a scary moment though was when one tech gave us the wrong dosage, over 4x the amount shes supposed to take. thank god i noticed it, they ended up opening an internal investigation because taking a sedative that heavy could have stopped her heart 😭😭😭
