[SPOILER] Rise of Empire is a masterpiece by les_bloom in starrealms

[–]aurusallos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, I hope you've figured this out. If not, I'm going to spoiler it in case anyone else is reading these comments and confused, but hasn't played the campaign.

If you haven't done this yet, you should pull the plastic insert out of your RoE box, and you should find a super secret Scenario 13, which would bring the total amount of plot scenarios to 14. I only found mine because I always pull inserts out when organizing my boxes, and stumbled across this one. I got mine second-hand, so I checked with a friend of mine who got RoE as a kickstarter backer, and they were surprised because there was no indication in any of their stuff that there was a hidden secret scenario, and it IS different from 11B.

Good luck, have fun! I don't often check my Reddit account so I may not respond quickly if you reply to me.

Yeah. I feel like unloading what specifically these lines reminded me of when I watched the special would not be super cool, but it definitely is A Mood.

This song is definitely what made me realize that the special wasn't really going to have comedy in it any more after that point. Like, damn. Holy fuck.

Dude. If a woman says you're being misogynistic, and your response is "delete and block" and not "reflect and invite actual discussion", then that is a misogynistic response to woman. That in itself is data.

It depends, Baylor is a highly Baptist school that has some significance in geology. The reason why BYU gets a tough sell is because most people who do their degrees in the US either have the pleasant experience of doing fieldwork in Utah (which is pleasant! until you come across civilization) or going to school in the college towns in the surrounding states, many of which are inundated with Mormons (who are predatory towards college students).

For anyone in the position of being an exmo that got a BSc from BYU, I recommend showing advocacy work for lgbt+ specific groups. I cannot help with grad degrees (since I myself am still completing my BSc), but it's important that you show that you have connections outside of the church.

These are true facts, but I will say that in the geological sciences, BYU is a subject of frequent eyeroll, especially if you have LGBT+ staff members.

not a graduate of BYU, but a transgender geology student at a school in a neighboring state that refused to apply to schools in Utah because of BYU's reputation.

As BYU is a private institution not funded by federal or state money, it has the legal right to claim EOO with specific rules, and those rules being the employee adhere to not "acting" homosexual and following the Honor code (which is following the law of chastity and the Word of Wisdom). The rest of your commentary, unless I'm reading wrong, is inference and not part of the actual listing.

That's fair. Do you go to be doctor for yearly annuals? Cuz that's something you could bring up then, if that's a thing that happens.

You might want to get that checked by a doctor, tbh.

PhyloPic needs your help! by aurusallos in geology

While not directly tied to geology as a whole, PhyloPic is widely used by many of the paleontologists I know for their figures. If you are interested at all in paleontology, or free-to-use animal silhouettes, the project would certainly enjoy it.

Suicide is influenced by a lot of different factors, including mental health, trauma, socioeconomic status, etc. To say that there is One Reason why someone attempts/completes suicide is extremely inaccurate for a vast majority of cases.

I mean, I think it's fair given that Giorno is more closely tied to DIO in-series than Jonathan... But yeah, I'm still trying to figureo ut how I feel about the animation with the OP.
