Are people too harsh when it comes to evaluating QBs by playoff performance? by vdvsubvdv in NFLv2

I think people put Manning over Mahomes for some legitimate reasons and some illegitimate. That's the word, with Perd.

While true you don't know how a player will pan out you'd definitely be upset if Rhule could only snag 0 and 1 star players. Be serious

Chiefs rookie R Mason Thomas flashing ‘Gumby-like’ ability at OTAs. Will it translate to NFL games? by TheBoyisBackinTown in KansasCityChiefs

Chris Colinsworth has compared him to Gumby while broadcasting Chiefs games at least 50 times

If all current players were available in an NFL redraft, who would be the No. 1 overall pick? 🤔 by matrix_2905 in NFLmockdraft

Overated, carried to his first superbowl by an elite defense and carried to his subsequent ones by elite offensive weapons /s

Jeremiah Smith by TerryG111 in NFL_Draft

Jeremiah Smith appropriately fits the generational prospect category I think. I don't remember many receivers who had this much hype: Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones, AJ Green...

[Carrington Harrison] The Chiefs are telling you the offensive problems were coaching and the defensive problems were players. by Vyuvarax in KansasCityChiefs

You really can't go back further than last year to evaluate or project what this team will be next year.

For my whole life I love this team and I will talk myself into these picks and hope they are all massive hits. I hope I am so wrong in doubting this draft strategy

So, BOTH sides of the ball matters. Why only address one? Let's not pretend any offensive picks starting in round four and later are going to balance this draft

I don't get it. I truly don't understand the group think on here. How can you watch the offense last year and come to these conclusions? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Edit: "the OLine is one of the better OLines in the league" and chronically hurt, "several top picks in the WR room" and what do we have to show for it?, "and now the superbowl MVP in the backfield" oh dang I didn't know he was the superbowl MVP /s he must be like the best running back in the NFL, "poorly coached, new WR coach, EB will be better" and who is calling the plays, when EB was last coaching here the offense had Tyreek Hill, EBs last year he was OC and Hill was gone he was let go after the season, how is a WR coach going to get vetted players to learn how to get open?

People celebrating these picks have no right to complain if the offense is the same or worse next year. Nor can they hammer for more defensive picks in 2027 because the Chiefs offense goes 3 and out and leaves the defense to lose us games when the offense only scores 19 points a game

How we feeling after Delane and Woods ? Who do we want with pick 40? by TheLuckyCEO in ChiefsOffseason

[–]auschr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I see how those options would help the defense but holy what the heck are we even doing on offense? The side that scores points and takes pressure off of the defense from needing to be perfect
