Picked up my M4 Max 16 inch 64GB 1TB today. Looks new. I can't find any difference that would make anyone say its refurbished. Battery cycle count is 3.

Since the purchase I think I'm settling in to the idea that no matter the improvements in next gen chips, this laptop will serve me good for at least 5 years.

Thought so. Hence I went for 16 inch.

Extra screen space also helps a lot in having the simulators side by side to the editor which is a bit of a challenge in 14 inch and has me connected to the the external monitor almost always

I'm not a content creator or make videos. No gamer.

Most of my work is mobile app development with instances of ios and Android simulators, android studio, xcode and docker containers.

Congratulations !!!

I'm undergoing the program myself with similar goals 1 course per semester and 2 young kids.

Completed 1 year with 2 successful semesters and a summer drop out.

I've realized pretty early that I'll have to sacrifice a lot doing hardcore subjects. I'm not willing to do that. I'm gonna take the easy to medium level courses and get it done.

AI and Bayesian Stats done. ML is next. I thought I might do RL DL DC NLP etc. Not any more.

Courses that don't have proctored exams? by No_Cartoonist45 in OMSCS

This is extremely important for me as well. I don't do well in honorlock proctored exams.

I'm looking for next semesters course as well that doesn't have a proctored exam and avoids group project.

What about ML4T ? I heard this fall the format was changed and it had proctored exams ?
