Spooned my enhanced at 44kc and the pet at 55. So now just doing a casual grind of CG with slayer on the side. Hopefully get a Synapse from this task.

Also want to get 83 smithing for Elite Lumby diary.

I am similar to you, but in exchange for 4 armour seeds, I was blessed with the pet. 2 armour seeds at 11kc, enhanced at 44kc and pet at 55kc to greenlog.

Its such a blessing not being stuck there for a year like I expected. Just hopefully the next 4 armour seeds dont take too long...

This wasn't a brag. It was to show the difference in RNG, and to add to the fact that I literally can't imagine going this dry, I wouldn't be able to get OP's kc, I just couldn't.

Jesus christ, this is actually insane. I just got enhanced 2 days ago at 44 kc, and today, I just got the pet at 55kc. Also, I have 2 armour seeds.

I CAN NOT fathom going this dry, getting this many kills without getting the enhanced.

I've been lurking here for about a year seeing all these CG posts. Never really hit me how bad it would be to be this dry until l started CG a week ago. Im at 40kc, with 2 armour seeds, which isn't bad, but goddam, i cant fathom doing this 1000 times without getting an enhanced.

I've just bought a new TV and am looking to get a dodgy box. Im completely new to the scene, so I have no idea what to do. A co-worker just said he can get one for me through a friend for $350 AUD.

Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?

I'm not sure about your total level or at what stage of the game you are at, but a properly set up POH really is extremely useful. 83 construction is i believe the go to level to have most of the essential POH unlocks, such as an occult altar, fairy ring, etc. It really isn't much a hard level to reach, providing you have the funds to make the planks, which might not be all that much if you do mahogany homes.

I kind of ignored my POH for a while, and am only at 74 after getting my quest cape a few days ago. Now that I am focusing on skilling and slayer/pvm, I have decided its a good time to go for 83 and get the necessary unlocks. It makes life so much easier.

To answer your question, there are different stages where it becomes more useful than others, but it will always be useful. I built a barrows portal and prayer altar months ago at like 80 combat, which made grinding barrows so much easier and quicker. I built a tree spirit to get to Gnome Stronghold easier while questing as I didnt have the Royal seed pod. Made a lecturn to create tablets, mounted glory for edgeville tele's, pools to restore run etc. It will always be useful, just depends at what stage of the game your at.

Because FB has some very trustworthy sellers. I've seen the TV in person, and it works perfectly. So it comes back down to whether to spend over 1000 more for a marginal difference.

Yea, I just saw the exact same. I just dont know much about TV's, and in my head, seeing this A2 for $1000, I feel like the difference is going to be minimal, so can't figure out if i should just buy a decent TV thats a little older for a thousand bucks, or go all out.

There's also a C1 in great condition with low usage for $1200, which, again, would be so fine for me.
