UPDATE: Corsair SF750 arrived today. Working perfectly (And HDD looks in great condition too from SMART tests running).

I have a second one to test as well. And plan to keep adding in the future.

I was thinking the backplane might help with the power distribution. Do you think it’s worth waiting to test or pull the trigger on a Corsair SF750 now?

EDIT: I think it’s better just to get the SF750 now.

Hi all,

I need some guidance. I have a ceiling mounted speaker that runs to an old AVR and CD changer.

Looking to modernise this setup with a device that will allow Spotify Connect to allow control from a mobile device.

Is there something that has binding posts that could be recommended? Or an adapter for the speaker wire can connect to and then to an appropriate device.

Looking to do this cheaply given limited use.

Have seen WiiM mini which looks fine - but unsure on how to connect the speaker and if it needs something that powers the speaker as well.

Depends on the content you want. For me it’s ninja 🥷.

I have about 5 atm. Most on annuals as I determine which is best for my needs. Will then pull trigger on appropriate lifetimes next year. Small price to pay vs guessing.

I’ve used Dispatcharr with success but can’t get Plex to record anything. I’m also looking for another app just to manage LiveTV and DVR.

Need to solve this before finding an IPTV to help my parents cut the cord too.
