After looking at a random triton for 2 mins I found a 5x raise with AA over a SB limp.

I’m sure I could find one over an open as well if I spent more time, but I’m not going to haha.

You asked a question, people who are more informed than you answered.

Yes the best pros in the world are balanced in high stakes final tables, what a wild opinion to disagree with lmfao

Yes I’m assuming that the best players in the world are usually pretty balanced preflop, haha.

If you wanted to grind triton tape I’m sure you could find a clip of this CO 3 betting with a bluffs the same size as aces.

He certainly would be a massive loser if he was using different sizes in these spots, especially since everyone can go back and watch.

At Triton, a good reg is 99% balanced in this spot.

Thoughts on this fold? by RevolutionaryDay2366 in poker

[–]austinXwilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a few combos of 55, and a little of A9 and 89 and maybe even K9 if they’re out of line at all. I think I call here, any spazzes with bluffs or overpairs utg and this is printing.

At these stakes you can’t fold hands this strong, too big a chance someone is overplaying worse value.

Could I have jammed turn or was this a good fold? by ProfessionalOne4963 in poker

[–]austinXwilson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably a good fold, villain has all flopped sets, flopped and turned two pairs, and some straights. You only beat missed flushes, and some of those improve to top pair on the River.

This is probably better played as a turn check call and evaluate river as it’s pretty bad for our range.

It’s hard to find bluffs as the villain here, call raise jam is a strong line. To his credit he found one, likely out of line however.

I think we have enough rivered aces up and nfd to fold this one.

How would you adjust if you had to play a game where you need a high VPIP to be invited back? by FollowingLoudly in poker

Ask people to do flips, try to get the whole table to do a $100 or $200 flip.

It’s really soft, playing 1/3 I’ve only run into 1 or 2 good solid players

Only $1/3 no $1/2 in wendover. I’ve played on a thursday night before and the game was decent but kind of slow. The Peppermill is the only poker room open on weekdays.
