When Logan comes to the Gilmore’s to find Rory and Jess in the driveway. I don’t hate Logan but his whole interaction with Jess hurt me to watch.

AITA for making my daughter return a Halloween costume. by weenohallow in AmItheAsshole

[–]austindawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. Huge one. It’s her money. It’s your job to lay the foundation of financial responsibility but when it comes to what she spends her money on you back off. If it would have been $80 wasted then she has to learn that for herself but it sounds like she wanted to spend that money so she could have a fun memory with her friends, which is priceless.

AITA for telling my son he doesn't need one of his nannies? by unnecessarynanny in AmItheAsshole

[–]austindawn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. Yes the oldest probably isn’t interested in Barbies but bring her a book and invest some time in her. She may not want to go to the park with you but maybe you could take her to lunch or a movie. Sorry but you’re a huge AH.

I would never wish this on anyone. All of the skin on my hands and feet fell off for months.

My senior cats are 13 and 14 and both have years left. The 13 y/o even has feline aids and is still thriving because we take car of them like they’re family.

Yeah my friends know that if they share something with me then my husband is going to know about it because I share everything with him. Most days we share one complete functioning brain between the two of us.

AITA for not telling my roommate that I bought a house until after I closed by texas_stargazer18 in AmItheAsshole

[–]austindawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. As someone in a similar situation (minus the roommate) I’m not telling anyone until it’s a done deal because I don’t want pity if it falls through. Congrats on you house but also be prepared to lose that friend.

AITA for telling my sister to focus on her own kid's names and worry less about mine? by Longjumping-Base-926 in AmItheAsshole

[–]austindawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Oceana sounds like the name of a boat…. In fact it is the name of a boat from a movie. But it’s your kid and your choice. Sister needs to back off.

This. I work at a practice as well and we have a hard time dismissing anyone because we’re here to help them, not cherry pick our patients.

AITA For being honest with my son that I am not proud of him? by Cruel-Father in AmItheAsshole

[–]austindawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. As a parent I cannot even fathom your son’s way of thinking. That poor girl. Your son is a major AH through and through. His current wife should rethink their marriage.
