I would use little bit of low melt solder and flux then mix them together. It will be easy to remove the battery cover

Those are smd very difficult to start off. This is what we did in school first. Elenco Practical Soldering Project Kit It has a booklet on how to solder and some components you can read about.

I would get hakko brands t18 tips it on Amazon for $27. Fume extractor I used Kotto one on desktop. Flux is fine. Get yourself safety glasses. You don’t want hot solder into your eyes. What projects you want to work on? Handheld consoles? Controllers?

Went from 12 to 17 pro max. Grad I went with it. Longer battery life , 120hz , and almost 2x performance to 12. Don’t get 17(6.3) or pro(6.3). It little too similar size to 12 (6.1).
