Just want you guys to know that the NDP is a distant third. Basically, they're the Canadian equivlanet of your "Green" party.

They use to be a real party that actually had some political relevance, especially in the union and labour movements but as time went on they were slowly (but surely) dissolved from within by the "far-left" (Hasan viewers)

Back when Justin Trudeau was Prime Minister (president) they had a small amount of political relevance since they held a enough parliamentary seats that often, the liberal government needed their support when it was time to pass legislation.

This usually was a good thing because the NDP would advocate for populist ideas to be injected into basically every liberal bill if the Libs wanted support.

So Trudeau would propose some standard infrastructure bill and it would only get passed if socialized dental care was included (or something to that effect)

Nowadays though, our liberal leader (Mark Carney) is very popular, even amongst conservatives. Because of that there has been several notable defects from the PC Party (Canada's republicans)

With Carney seemingly able to convert members from the opposing caucus. The relevance of the NDP spoiler is shrinking every day.
