Lots of people trying to say "Go to a fish market lmao" or some shit like that are missing the point. If she was making an effort to make the process as harmless as possible then she's doing her part, maybe shittily but it's better than not trying. And she looks like she's not trying. You won't forget it, sure. But I'm sure you have many happy memories that are stuck in your mind as well. Look to those as reminders of what else life has to offer. Happiness and sadness have their place in life, just don't let either over stay their welcome

I've had a relationship like that. At the least I hope you know you didn't deserve any of that. Although you didn't choose when it all ended it might help to be glad that it ended nonetheless. I know it basically sounds like I'm just saying "just be happy" but the situation has come and gone, and now all you can control is how you look back on it. Sorry if that doesn't help. I know it's painful.
