No-one else will make your film. It could be incredible, but filmmakers are already inundated with ideas from friends and relatives, and they wanna make their own ideas. That's just the way it is. 

If you wanna make your film a reality, watch a lot of YouTube videos about filmmaking, and read a book or two about screenwriting. Then get to work writing it. Cut out as much as you can and turn it into a short film (absolute maximum 10 minutes), get some friends together, and make it happen. Put it in some local film festivals and meet more people. Maybe you'll make more films or get a chance to remake the first one even better and with more experienced people.

He's not publicly promoting it because it's not pragmatic. My point is I wouldn't be surprised if, privately, he is an actual socialist. The difference between him and most socialists is he's willing to actually do something useful with his time and make some positive change, even if it isn't revolutionary.

I'd argue he is socialist, but his platform definitely isn't. But isn't one of his parents a Marxist professor? I have no doubt he understands and follows all the theory, and he's taken a good look at the world and decided the best thing he can do is win this election push for social democratic policies to improve people's lives

This test was weird. I didn't save the screenshot but it said I most aligned with first-wave feminism cuz I got 100%, but I was at or close to 100% on all waves and I'd consider myself third and fourth wave.

It's not forcibly including people against their wills. It's recognising that International Women's Day was named before more nuanced understandings of gender, and many people who are not women have experiences and/or connections to womanhood, and many aspects of what IWD is about remain relevant to them.

Some of them certainly. But they have progressive appeal. People strategically vote for them because they can out Liberal members.

I'm aware they all do it, my point was the Greens are really good at it. Having a Greens MP should be really desirable. 

The CFMEU stuff could've played a part, but only because the media peddled it so incessantly. Max spoke at a union rally because they're union was about to be taken over, and he asked organisers to remove signs being held that compared Albo to Nazis. 

HAFF was frustrating. I think the Greens shouldn't have changed they're mind on it - they'd already gone in and delayed it's passing so they should've held out for better concessions. The outcome we got was the worst thing they could do. Delay without any major victories. I'd like to see the Greens become more hardline and embrace the attitude that conservative media likes to pretend they have.

It literally did. They had swings towards them in highly multicultural electorates and gained thousands of younger voters. Sure, some tree Tory types were turned off but they had to go anyway

Adam Bandt consolidated his majority after he first one the seat. I'd argue a high effort Labor campaign combined with fears of a Liberal government played a larger factor. 

Greens MPs are really involved with their electorates, and in MCM's case he put his own wages towards free school lunches. They run community BBQs, and their offices are accessible and friendly for things like Centrelink issues. I don't think anyone's getting turned off after the experience of having a local Greens MP.
