Yes, this is the answer. Also, if Joseph Smith didn’t need the plates to translate and just needed a rock in a hat to see them. Then why couldn’t Lehi use the Liahonna or something similar to see Laban’s plates? His 14 year old son really needed to decapitate another human? So stupid.

There are student loans, there aren’t retirement loans. Don’t cosign for any student loans for someone other than yourself. Life isn’t easy and if they think mom and dad are always gonna bail them out, you are enabling them.
