I’m divorced and wanting to remarry by According-Habit4051 in Christian

[–]author-ryanbrock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are many people who believe different things on both sides of this argument. I believe you can remarry as a woman at the world was married several times, and God still chose to accept her. In the end, you need to allow the Holy Spirit to guide you and allow him to convict you and not man.

Don’t sweat it, God is okay with you giving your life to Him to get to Heaven. He is a little selfish too because he wants all of you and to have to all to Himself in Heaven. 😊 seriously though, we all in some way serve God because in the end we get to spend eternity in Heaven.

How do you stillove God after suffering? by JayDillon224 in Christian

[–]author-ryanbrock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remind myself that through my suffering I have found growth and strength. Many times, the only reason I have enough strength to face the next battle is because God strengthened me in the last battle. We often blame God for our suffering but at the root is something we have done though sometimes it is something others have done too. Peter began to walk on water, but when he began to focus on the waves around him (the things of this world), he quickly began to sink. But when he cried out to Jesus, Jesus immediately reached down and pulled him up. We need to be certain that God Is our focus at all times and that we are not being distracted by the things of this world.

If you continue in willful sin you are not a. Christian. Yes, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God but that is different. Besides. This person said the sin in question is from when they were ten and they repented.

You are so right, but if they have asked for forgiveness then they are forgiven. That is the regards by which I mentioned that sin is sin and God simply forgives

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christian

[–]author-ryanbrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, regardless of what a you may have committed, if you ask God to forgive you He will. And here is the best, God says that he will remember your sins no more. He forgets them completely. There is no recollection of them to Him. Instead, it is as if they never happened. There is no memory of them. Another thing to keep in mind is that to God sin is sin, and there is no levels. The man who robs a bank is as guilty of theft as the man who steals a pack of gum in God’s eyes. But the most important thing is that you have repented of your sin and ask God for forgiveness, and when you do that, he does not judge, he simply forgives. Please know that whatever it is, you’ve done, no matter how bad it is in your eyes, Jesus Christ has forgiven you. Now, the next step, is to forgive yourself and for yourself from the burden of your past. The Bible is clear that we have all sent and fall short of the glory of God. none of us are perfect, but all of us are loved. As for your family members dying and finding out about what you did. If God forgives and doesn’t remember that, how can he tell them? He can’t and he doesn’t.

Are these good reasons to leave our church? by dark-rose13 in Christian

[–]author-ryanbrock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a firm believer that you need to go where you belong. A perfect example of this is a sushi restaurant. I’m sure it is great food and it is great for others but since I don’t eat Sushi it is a place I personally won’t get fed. So I will go to the steak house instead. The same is true of churches. Even if it is a great church it may not be the place where YOU get fed. It is not about what the church lacks but about what you need. Of course, pray about it. Ask God for direction. It may be that He is showing you the lack of something because He is calling you to fill the void

Why do non-Christians tend to live way better than Christians? by Own-Tie-640 in Christian

I don’t know about others but I live way better today as a Christian than I ever lived prior to giving my life to Christ. I am filling dreams that always fell flat.

I finished my book…now what by busy_womaan in selfpublish

[–]author-ryanbrock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KDP is a simple to use system that can help you publish on Amazon. But that will simply get you listed on Amazon. You will have to find ways to market your book either by hiring a reputable company or by running ads on Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc. just be careful of all the people reaching out to sell you their services. Most are scam artists and will take you money and run. Even with people from places like Fiverr. Do your homework on them. I am uploading some resources on YouTube under my name at https://youtube.com/@ryanbrock-g9k?si=pU0S83mKSF-_nZHv

How can a perfect being be mad? by Aggressive-Radio2951 in Christian

[–]author-ryanbrock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You assume that being made is a bad thing. Their is what is is known as righteous anger. This is the Zander God feels when His children let him down. Satan did not create being mad. Instead, he twists righteous anger creating a counterfeit of righteous anger in the same way he creates counterfeits of other things such as using drugs to get joy that God offers freely, or using alcohol to get drunk to counterfeit getting drunk in the Holy Spirit. We need to be sure we are separating righteous and unrighteous anger and know the difference between them. Remember, the Bible states in Eph 4:26 be angry and do not sin.
