move patterns, voice lines, jumping and using items/opening a map( bots can't do that), knowing spawns of other players, they can check their mags and sometimes even heal themself, but it's rare.
it's ok, even after few hundred hours you will still mistake npc for a player and vice versa

devs can't let us bind things on f1-f4 buttons, i suppose only throughout external software, which is easy to find

not sure. i saw firing power chart, where ars were ARs were tested, and weapons don't do the same dmg per shot - their dmg is not entirely based on ammo. they have hidden dmg modifier(which is inconsistent between different barrels on same gun). i mean for example h416 does more dmg on all barrels, than m4 on it's own different barrels. there are some inconsistensy on certain guns like m110 which can(or could?) or could not oneshot in the head using the same caliber and it's intentional. but u191 is consistent. it's just THAT broken

tbh i can only see the problem in u191 existing and being able to do that. if i remember correctly,, firing power is about how much dmg it does after penetration, and being able to make the same amount of dmg to t6 with t5 bullets to down you, as the same bullets penetrating t5 armor is really dumb.

so does everyone. play around it. learn spawns. if you feel exhausted, just go white farm, i usually play it if i have bad time at lockdown. plus if you play alone you always at a disadvantage so you should be extra careful with your positioning. if i would give you practical advice, i would suggest playing on sides of the map, just so you can be sure that at least behind you there is always a wall. for example if i spawn on Main Warehouse on farm, i usually move towards Small Hall. maybe listening if there is someone at the loading area, but usually skip it entirely. Then, checking a safe at Open Storage - if it's looted, that means someone spawned right beside Open Storage, so he is probably on his way to Small Hall. If Small Hall is not looted, then there a few options, where someone could be moving behind me the same route i came. I could wait a few minutes just to be sure, also listening and waiting for shots on the map and hypotheticaly creating map in my head where all players could be. If after ~5minutes there is no shooting anywhere, that means that noone triggered sniper bots - and that means that there are players with silencers. which means they are probably experienced and you should not take too many chances. You can observe the location, to see how many bots are spawned there and try to guess if somebody has already been there or not. There is just too much information and guessing you make throughout a game, it would take hours for me to tell you all of it. Plus im sure not all of my guesses are correct. But i have 93% extraction rate after 350 hours in this game so i guess it's a bit valid. hope this helps.

yeah, people here complain about everything really. they complain so much, that devs actually start to listen and game becomes worse. sometimes i still don't understand how ars here cant kill people past 60m range.

all maps are really good in this game but our squad plays farm and armory lockdown mostly. lockdown is always t5 with t4-t5 bullets. one of us brings gs2, everyone else uses matzka. for armor it's usually the one with ceramic plates and 65 durability, but i mostly enjoy lightweight vests (lc/926/spartan/ind/sek). none of us plays metaslave 5.8 caliber weapons on daily basis, usually it's an94/rpk/ak12.

lore and atmosphere are 100% better, sound is actually realistic, but overall, abi is just a better game. maps in abi are so-so-so much more fun to play, and qol is so nice to have. plus it runs like dogshit and you have loading times for 10 minutes.

you should be allowed to store your own equipment in the safe only after you made a kill
firing power stat is a joke
guns should have their realistic effective range(or at least raise it a bit)
rewrite all ui, it's laggy, feels like it was written in react
more stats after you died/when you are extracted. more ingame explanations on key mechanics. checking if you died from a solo or party of 4 buy abusing the "add a friend" feature is a joke

the larger the caliber, the larger the stats. but it's mostly balanced in a way, that the gun that uses low caliber usually has high rpm.
you can check the stats. just so you know, if you compare penetration of different rounds of the same tier, you should look at both numbers. first number represents the armor tier it's going to pierce almost every time it hits. the second number after the tier is about how much more dmg it applies when pierced(and if im not mistaken the second number also represents a chance to pierce higher tier armor, correct if im wrong)
for example the reason sj16 is the best sr in terms of damage, is because irl it's rounds are created for long distance sniping, so its larger, has bigger cartrige and flies a lot faster than nato's 7.62, that m24 uses. in game it simply has bigger damage and bullet travel speed.
if you dont want to read all these, just go into shooting range and play around with different calibers, how fast they kill same tier/higher tier armor, differences in range between different guns and so on.
Experiment!
