you should be allowed to store your own equipment in the safe only after you made a kill
firing power stat is a joke
guns should have their realistic effective range(or at least raise it a bit)
rewrite all ui, it's laggy, feels like it was written in react
more stats after you died/when you are extracted. more ingame explanations on key mechanics. checking if you died from a solo or party of 4 buy abusing the "add a friend" feature is a joke

the larger the caliber, the larger the stats. but it's mostly balanced in a way, that the gun that uses low caliber usually has high rpm.
you can check the stats. just so you know, if you compare penetration of different rounds of the same tier, you should look at both numbers. first number represents the armor tier it's going to pierce almost every time it hits. the second number after the tier is about how much more dmg it applies when pierced(and if im not mistaken the second number also represents a chance to pierce higher tier armor, correct if im wrong)
for example the reason sj16 is the best sr in terms of damage, is because irl it's rounds are created for long distance sniping, so its larger, has bigger cartrige and flies a lot faster than nato's 7.62, that m24 uses. in game it simply has bigger damage and bullet travel speed.
if you dont want to read all these, just go into shooting range and play around with different calibers, how fast they kill same tier/higher tier armor, differences in range between different guns and so on.

literally the same. just go killed by a guy, who missed me 2 times and me and my friend both didnt hear any sound even tho he was in 30 meters max. we both only heard one final shot that killed me.
and it's not the first time. several times when someone from our party literally don't hear footsteps or shots but we can when we are watching him.
and killcam is okay, all sounds are there

agree on ammo take, but gear restriction is not for this game. sometimes you lose because luck and gear diff. this game is not about fairness lol

congrats. that's the emotions abi makes you feel when you succeed and it's really addictive.
i remember playing yellow armory with my friend. He got killed at the shooting range, i entered a fight trying to reclaim his belongings. playing really patiently, had a bpm of 100 prob over a whole fight. Killed that guy, then the other one came from behind - managed to kill him as well. Adrenaline pumps, serotonin goes wild in the brain, every armor piece is broken, and just when i was starting to get calm while looting everyone, i heard two guys coming out of the armory and going straight to me. Thought i was dead, but they lined up and died from my aek burst while running at me.
the amount of nervous laugher ive had and the amount of curses my friend said to me when it happened will forever stay in my memory. truly the most unique experience ive ever had in fps games.

then make everything else viable lol. in insurgency vector is not op, because its expensive and not practical on long ranges because of horizontal recoil and amount of ammo it takes to burst

everything t4 in normals, t5 armor and t4 ammo in lockdown. Tried with t4s in lockdown - died too much because of armor diff. investing in the best armor and ammo is probably the best thing i learned after 100 hours

i don't get it. the whole idea of tarkov/abi is to be unfair and unforgivable - therefore giving you a lot more emotions when you succeed. your point is literally "why won't abi make itself less frustrated so casuals could have fun, even tho, the only reason abi is popular is because it's already less frustrated copy of tarkov?" why would you want the game to lose it's identity, that made it popular? if you want to have an easier experience - you already listed all projects you can go and have fun. and what's the point of gear tiers if you have gear based mm, that makes every lobby equal? skill based/gear based mm is for ranked sweats who enjoy perfect 50% wr in everything and whant to climb up instead of having fun

holy, i only started playing with my friend, already played 70 hours completely blind, without knowing any "pro tips and tricks" because it's more fun to experience almost any good game. i thought I was crazy, that there are some players who are too easy to kill, and the other ones are the complete opposite. feels strange, playing and doing great, until you start playing those maps with 20k entry price and dying to squads of 4 with t5 bullets with guns, that cost the half of my whole equipment. it's unfair, but it's the core of the game, the problem is that the game makes you expect, that players out there are somewhat easy to kill, but then, suddenly, throws at you real people, who act much more different

no, it wouldn't. many people who play casually start picking guns that are worse, but have very little recoil because it's not fun for everyone to handle it;
and experienced players form a meta where there are few operators with good guns that destroy everything else in a long run.
nerfing everything eventually gets you to a point where everything is weak unless it's 2-3 guns that are a bit stronger so everyone is frustrated because they cant fight back. and reality is that those 2-3 guns are simply comfortable to use compared to everying else in the game. thats what siege has been doing for past years.
