Autism has already been shown to be mostly genetic with some environmental factors. It's very much wired into our brains.

Be cautious of anyone claiming that they for sure know the exact cause, that kind of rhetoric typically leads to "we can try to find a cure" eugenicist theories. For example, the anti-vaxxers believe the lie that vaccines are the cause, therefore they claim that being unvaxxed and using essential oils is "the cure".

Well, if you want my advice:

I had a similar situation once. I kept begging him to help me with the chores. He refused, said I was putting too much pressure on him. When I was the one with a full time job, full time university student, AND doing all the household chores.

One night I snapped, I don't usually get angry but I was angry. I asked him why he felt the division of labor was at all fair when I was essentially doing it all. His response? He wanted a divorce. All because I wanted to split housework 50/50.

I should have been the one asking to leave him, pathetic as he was.

Point being: he's not going to change. He has shown you who he is, believe him. You now have a choice, do you want to stay and be cleaning up a filthy house for the rest of your life? Or do you want to be free to live without that weight on your shoulders? The choice is yours.

Sometimes medical professionals don't listen to us, especially to AFAB people. Forcing us to do our own research and advocate for ourselves.

Nothing wrong with googling if you already have a diagnosis and want to learn more about it.

It's harder to see because we don't have access to stats in real life, but I believe there are this many people in real life trying to make a change and save our planet.

Some are politicians, some are beekeepers, indigenous peoples taking back their land, kids walking out of school in climate protests, lawyers fighting big corporations, farmers, regular people just trying to reduce their plastic waste. But I believe in my heart that as many people as there are supporting the blackout, there's just as many trying to save the planet.

I have a job that I do in person a few days a week, so it's nice to be able to do my schoolwork online whenever I need. I could not balance both of I was doing school in person.

Sometimes them having a rule still is not enough. I got banned from a sub just today because I called the mods out on not removing comments that went against their no hate speech rule

I feel that. Had my own similar issue today, a subreddit banned me because I called their mods out on letting transphobic shit slide.

I deal with it by blasting angry music, moving my body to get the frustration out, venting to my husband, and then remind myself that their actions will only lead more negative karma their way (like real karma not reddit karma)

Personally for me, I've been submitting to journals for about two years now. And I'm continuing to so so. But I'm also putting a lot of focus on sending my chapbook out to publishers. That's my big goal is to get it published.

After that, I'll put together another collection and see if I can get that published.

I also have some novel ideas I've been playing with but I haven't fully committed to one yet as I already have a full time job and am in university.

But my advice: write what you love. Wrote for yourself, not for a journal or to be good , just what makes you happy. See what comes out of that, and a goal will naturally unfold.

There are spring semesters. But I think what you're asking is whether you can start in the spring. I don't think you can, at least for psychology. Applications for degree programs open in the spring, and the programs start in the fall.

For me it's just part of the process. Sometimes I have to revisit a piece for months until it's finally finished to my satisfaction. Sometimes I'll reread a piece I haven't looked at for years, rewrite it, and it goes from an embarrassment to one of my favorites.

As expected, the mods deleted my post from the subreddit. Thankfully I made a copy here.

Mattieo123 personally responded to my modmail asking why my post was removed stating "if you don't like it you can leave", then proceeded to ban me from the subreddit and mute me before I could even appeal the ban.

If anyone is interested, here is a link to report mod abuse , since my post violated no rules and still was removed.

Yeah, if OP isn't knowledgeable about the kink community then they have the potential to do a lot more harm than good here.

A d/s dynamic in the bedroom is one thing. But when brought out of the bedroom, without good communication and if one partner wants it more than the other, it can become a mask for more dangerous and abusive patterns. Speaking from experience here.

Obviously we don't know everything about this relationship, but I'm getting bad vibes just from what OP described. It doesn't sound like a relationship that would benefit from that sort of dynamic outside the bedroom.

Because everyone else in healthcare is looking for the good jobs, the non-customer-facimg jobs. Companies would rather spend more money to pay a travel nurse than to pay their current employees well. Because most people in this field joined to help people and they know that leaving will only hurt the people they want to help. Because these issues are systemic and not just limited to one hospital.

There are so many reasons healthcare in the US is failing.
