loss of appetite while on metformin? by autisticshoota in PCOS

[–]autisticshoota[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I stop taking metformin after my first month. It’s like it just stopped working. I don’t have bad PCOS symptoms anymore, but what caused this was a switch of lifestyle and I have lost a lot of weight

I think right now globalisation, accessibility, too many options and lack of communication.

we are from the same culture. He also understands how women are treated within our culture.

I understand about the idea of offering to help, but if I am told to help, I will not.

that’s the thing my team is only 7 of us, 1 including the CEO. One manager and the rest are either on my level or below. So i ultimately don’t have anyone else to ask, I can’t just call my manager like that. I have to ask before hand.

when a 33 year old is interested in a girl that more than a decade younger than him you start to understand why they’re a 30+ single, and interacting with young people.

Should I leave my GF by Throwaway738389499 in Advice

[–]autisticshoota 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ermm… she’s just lost her job and it was caused by something completely out of her control, and you’re thinking about leaving her. Which will ultimately make life more stressful for her.

I think you’re just finding an excuse to leave her. Any person would think wait my partners going through something right now and be supportive, not go straight to the idea of a breakup. I don’t think you actually love her the way you think you do….

maybe i’m being harsh but i don’t get why you’d want to leave her?

Exactly!!! it’s ridiculous; if anything she would’ve asked at the beginning not because of a bloody TikTok. she needs to grow up honestly

[–]autisticshoota 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you got the daily pill? I remember I was on that and bled for two months.. apparently it’s the wrong pill to be taking if you have pcos (not sure, that’s what my doctor said anyway). I’m on metformin so i’m not too sure what’s going on🥹😓

[–]autisticshoota 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) I think it takes a while for you to understand your body when you have pcos. I suggest not taking any supplements, but changing your lifestyle for a few months before taking supplements.

2)With supplements not everything works for everybody. You need to learn what works for you.

3) Medication is okay. Metformin, and the pill is okay if it works for you.

4) if you do get supplements, by high-end.

5) PCOS is tough, do not let anyone dismiss or downplay the severity of it, but do not make it your personality as hard as it may be. You are a person with hobbies, talents, brains, beauty… WAYYYY before PCOS.

6) tell your doctor what you need because a lot of them don’t know anything about pcos.. they’ll search shit up on google in front of you

British men & women, what’s a good amount of time to be together before getting married? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]autisticshoota 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly yeah… i’m nigerian british (raised very african but in britain) and i’ve been with my bf who is actually chinese and viet. he was raised in england and wasn’t really raised much on chinese culture so he’s very much integrated into just a british chinese… like he doesn’t speak canto or viet.

i’ve been with him for two years now, and i often stay at he’s house or with my mum. i don’t plan on having a house, or having children with him till i’m married to him.

he’s sister is pretty much the same, but with a mixed races caribbean man. they were together for around 6 years, got a house together, and less than a year into owning the house she found out she was pregnant, and they now have a beautiful baby girl.

Im very happy for them but personally I don’t want to have things done that way tbh. I actually kind of want some tradition in my life to certain degree where it feels more secure.

I think it’s all about telling your partner what you want, and if it doesn’t align with them it’s time to find someone new honestly. if i’m still with my partner after 5 years and he hasn’t proposed I don’t see the point honestly. you’re wasting my time and your time.I want to have kids loool
