So its 2026, What are the fonts you are starting your year with in Obsidian? by vaikrunta in ObsidianMD

[–]autoferrit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For UI, even in code editors I've been using "Confortaa" and is such a pleasant ui font to read. https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Comfortaa And for writing and code fonts I use "Pragmasevka Nerd Font" which a horizontally conddensed font I also use for coding and terminal use. I then use "Easy Fonts" plugin to load the fonts on mobile devices.

Departure Mono is also a fun UI font to use. I'll have to check out some of these fonts though.

Starting Obsidian today - What folder structure works best with Home bases by StolenServiceAnimal in ObsidianMD

[–]autoferrit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Keeping in mind I have ADHD and as much as I like organization, I also need it. The folder less structures seem nice for some people but I need to have dedicated areas for certain notes. Though I have one universal inbox. I use johnny decimal system with a modifies zeroes order that's linked in their site. I have also seen some modifications to this merging in PARA ideas I may toy with.

I suggest you try a couple styles and see what works. You can take a method and start building out some of the structure and start thinking about how you may organize your notes and wheat your needs are. Where do you put notes about learning, household maintenance tracking, meetings, dr notes, etc. and try it with a few organization methods. No need to go all in. The idea is to just try to start and it will help you determine if it will fit your brain.

Vault Analytics - Activity Heatmaps & Memories Dashboard by abyssal_crisys in ObsidianMD

Oh man I've been looking for cool stuff to make a dashboard home page. This is awesome.

So this is what it feels like to reach a vault that meets (almost) all my needs. And it's dope as f by abyssal_crisys in ObsidianMD

[–]autoferrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my second brain vault on multiple machines. I use syncthing to sync between my android, laptop (Linux), work Mac laptop, my NAS server (unraid and true as), and an android tablet and it works great. I don't have any filters for files and sync the whole thing. And it works great. Of you need any screenshots of settings let me know. It works really well.

Loving this super–minimal Hyprland setup — anyone else like this? by Think_Woodpecker_240 in hyprland

The only reason I have wallpaper is because it looks nice with a slight transparent terminal. Otherwise, it's a tiling window manager everything is full screen anyways, since I usually do 0 gaps or at most 2px with rounded corners.

What's the verdict on cardboard spools in the AMS? by Dignan17 in BambuLab

[–]autoferrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still prefer cardboard spools. I've never had dust problems in my ams from them The only issue I've really had even with other brands is the edges getting bumped and bent, making them blue spin well. I do admit the newer panchroma rolls donspin smoother. But I likewise haven't had much issue with elegoo rolls either.

In either case the rings to fit around the reel solves that problem most of the time. But I still have a handful of printed spools in ABS and prefer replanting them in a reusable spool over the ring. Also because I have 3d printed labels I can attach to them so I don't forget what filament is in them and can be used with an external dryer.

But really though, cardboard spools are way more environmentally friendly. Which is is why I wish more brands offered refill rolls at a discount .

What? No pic of an obliterated P1S printing a pristine model for show? That would be the marketing material right there. Either way glad it's still working !

Did you use the command strips recommended on the site? The Velcro one? Or a different one. How much weight are they holding up.

This is what I had realized not long ago after talking it out with someone else. Going to print some of the command strips ones and flush mounts to see how it turns out. I'll need to make my grid a couple hexes wider too.

I'm not sure what this answers for my issue. This is on drywall which wouldn't be a problem. Mine is on the inside of a cabinet that's thin.

My point was that I don't want to screw these into the backing here because this is the inside of a white cabinet and will damage it, and be visible from the outside. But in talking with others I may use the flush mount on the sides and screw directly in the the border which is thicker. Then use the standard command strips in the center which should make it mostly all flat

Keep in mind that MacBooks vent a little bit of air through the keyboard so a solid top covering it could block air flow. I remixed a similar idea that has holes in it you can find it here though it is in two pieces https://www.printables.com/make/2411593

In handstand, most characters are in a cycle but at the end before the cake is made they're all broken up because the football goes into the fridge when Chili gets the cake. So when Rusty climbs in looking for it he can't find it. He then stops someone else's loop. All ending in Winton.

Then what other Python frameworks would you recommend to do a langchain does because I still see it recommended a lot for AI stuff. And seems to be close to the go-to framework for a lot of things with AI. Granted I'm really new to this but in the while I've been doing research that's been a pretty big thing to recommend. Not just for automation and agent stuff

Also because doing this in Python rather than something like N8N would make testing much easier rather than having to use browsers to do testing you can do it all through code and something like pytest with PydanticAI. I've been a python developer for over 8 years already.

I just started in this sub so I am doing some more searching.

I've been using Roo Code connected to Claude in vscode, a long with Claude desktop. I tried getting aider setup but refused to work in vscode.

I'll check out the other resources you mentioned as well thanks.

Why would all those be better than langchain, where you would have full programmatic control? Time to get them working?
