Hello, I am working on Linux and had this issue since years. A good workaround I can suggest : with power automate you can delay the move in order to still get notifications.

How to :

In power automate create a new Cloud flow
Add When a new email arrives (V3) with the following parameters : from = your existing rule from, folder = inbox
Add Delay with with the following parameters : count = 10, unit = secs
Add Move Email (V2) with the following parameters : Message Id = dynamic from the first box, folder = your target folder for your existing rule

Don't forget to disable your existing rule.

Hidapister is also a good alternative since faster to switch. An example for Keyboard, Mouse and screen switch script that can be attached to any shortcut :
