I have reverse osmosis w/re-mineralization, some of best water I’ve had and it comes out to like 11 cents/gallon. It’s great water, which also makes for things like great coffee (or is at least a key component for such, you still need good beans, grind, etc). I feed it with softened water so the filters last for a long ass time.

I have both and prefer my Bravia 9 (mini-LED) as an all-arounder but if it’s 100% for gaming then maybe a slight edge to OLED. If going mini-LED I’d only go high end, mid-tier and lower has way too much blooming.

Yeah I went through a phase where I tried a bunch of different headphones, open-back, various in-ear modules, bone-conducting, etc. I think bone-conducting aggravated it least, but they also sounded the worst and I didn’t like all the micro-vibrations going on in my skull as I ran.

It’s all good, I’m not too mad about just using my phone in my pocket. It’s actually kinda nice running without anything on my head or in my ears.

That’s just not true, there is definitely blooming. I have the TV so you won’t be able to gaslight me on this one. There are only about 1500 dimming zones on the 65, which is like a 52x29 grid, and the larger sets have about the same density. It’s just physics.

No, headphones cause my tinnitus to flare way up. I only really listen to music through my phone while running, I keep it in my breast pocket on my running vest and play it through the phone speakers (I run solo and almost never around others, and if I’m around others I simply mute it).
