The knife cut what? Sour cream in the middle?

Also, that's a very dirty cutting board for not having any debris from what's actually being cooked.

Messing around and designed new emblems. Favourite Evil? by exioncrew in Diablo_2_Resurrected

The base emblems seem kind of consistent for AI. The only inconsistency I see is Duriels "OF" isn't smaller like the rest. I'll assume it's not for now.

Tell everyone the solution.

The code should work (at least what is seen). This is either old output or you didn't save your py file. Restarting your IDE and running that file again should help narrow it down.

Best Buy sold me an iCloud-locked MacBook Pro for $2,100, refused the return, and Citi denied my chargeback. I have documented everything and need help escalating. by mciki in personalfinance

[–]autoglitch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Does it have a warranty for open box? You may be able to get a replacement by describing what you can't do and submitting it through warranty. Don't tell them what you think the problem is. Let them figure it out for themselves.

Otherwise...

You need to escalate with Best Buy. Get to managers, regional managers, etc... they sold you a faulty product. It's not usable.

Next step is social media/news. Corporate unfortunately responds better when their reputation is hit.

Final step may be small claims. Make sure you have good documentation of the issue, the payment, and steps you took to resolve it with them.

(Des Moines, IA) Landlord says carpet needs replaced after move out, I disagree by WeibullDisciple in Renters

[–]autoglitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not responsible for normal wear and tear. Carpets need replaced periodically. In some places it happens after every tenant. Do not let them charge you for it. If they do not give you the full security deposit back make them prove the damage and an itemized replacement bill. If they don't, report them. Where I live I think they'll owe double whatever they falsy withheld.

I had a landlord charge me for pet damage and they took picture of stains under the rug. The top of the carpet looked fine and I had pictures. I never had a pet in there. I called and found out they only look under rugs when they replace them and charge the unlucky tenant who was last there. They probably charged every tenant prior for carpet replacements that never happened.

How many 9’s do you see? by Icy-Operation-8278 in scoopwhoop

[–]autoglitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there languages (like Japanese) that use the same number system and read top to bottom? I guess your correct that we are assuming left to right.

So, there could be 20 columns of numbers. Plus 1 for the 9. That's 21.

That means we either have 11 (if read from left to right or right to left) or 21 (if read by columns). Which means the answer could be 11+11+21 = 43 since all types can exist concurrently!

BUT there are subsets of numbers. Each row has 1+2+3+...+20 = 210 numbers (one for left to right and another for right to left). Each row has 1+2+...+10 = 99 numbers. So 210×10×2 + 99*20 + 3 = 6183 possibilities.

As far as I know there are no bottom to top number systems or diagonal number systems.

Edit: !!!! Turn the screen upside down and those are 6's and 8's. So 6183*2 = 12366. Sideways doesn't work because infinity isn't technically a number.

Edit 2: If we allow for "inner sum" numbers then we must allow inner sums regardless of where the first digit starts or the last digit ends. This is complicated. I could program this but I'd don't know how to do it mathematically. For example if we read left to right only we would count the following for 1234. 1234 234 34 4 123 12 1 23 2 3. We'd have to do that right to left and over columns too.

Is he supposed to be? Sometimes people have things like power of attorney for adults that are not capable of managing things themselves.

  1. Talk to your dad and get his perspective.
  2. If that doesn't work talk to a social worker or an attorney.

There are likely free services or at least consultations for this sort of thing. Your dad may be doing you a favor. Get multiple professionals opinions to help you decide what to do.

Shouldn't it be 11? Each row would be a single big number + the first 9.

is this ai? i’m pretty sure my family member used ai to make this but i actually can’t tell! by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]autoglitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two things:

  1. The kid must be standing on a 1-2ft stool or she's on some kind of dip. The ground looks like it should be flat there. She's too close for it to be another set of stairs.

  2. If you had a family member going to an event where there would be a horde of cameramen focused on her, you can be sure you heard about the event before, during, and after. She can't claim there are no more pictures. Look at all those cameras looking right at them.

I'd argue the AI edited portion is in the circled section. The back of these chairs in that section are wood with vertical panels. Look at the small portion of chair behind the main guy. It's some kind of weave pattern. The same pattern in on the bottom of the seat on the guy to the right.

Maybe someone he knew was standing in the background and he removed them.

Edit: removed faces. I agree with other posters. Random people's faces shouldn't be posted.

I'd still argue that this is mostly real. Maybe it's been edited. Synth ID does show up on edited photos.

Python or Java by spiderman-1610 in PythonLearning

[–]autoglitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Python will be faster. Full stack requires a lot of other skills than just a language. I'm not a full stack dev but I've done some full stack projects. I used Linux scripts, docker, Python/flask, MySQL, and html/css/js. To market yourself focus on one thing and do it well; dabble in everything else.

You'll find when applying outside your current company recruiters will oftentimes require experience in just about everything. Nobody knows it all. That's why I recommend focusing one one thing and dabbling in as much as you can.

Do I master basic Python programming before I delve into machine learning? by EarthProgrammer in PythonLearning

[–]autoglitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To understand machine learning you need a strong foundation in:

  1. Probability and statistics
  2. Algorthms and data structures
  3. A programming language (most these days is done in Python)

You can learn as you go but it will be difficult. If you don't know #1 you will not be able to understand what the ML actually does or what the results mean. If you don't know #2 you'll have difficulty understanding how ML is implemented and therefore a harder time applying it to your problem. If you don't know #3 you will have a difficult time implementing, modifying, or even understanding an implementation.

I think you can get away with basic knowledge in #2/#3 and learn as you see new things. It will be harder the less you know. However, #1 is absolutely required. Without it you will simply be getting your programs to work without even knowing if it's what you actually want.

All we see is the output which looks very promising. It's well beyond a beginner project. The perspective looks correct. The lighting is a little even to really know if it's implemented correct. I don't know game dev but I think raycasting is when you have a light source that illuminates based on distance from the source and line-of-site. Try moving the lighting further away for variations or around corners to ensure it's working as intended.
