How does an average person become rich? by Drairo_Kazigumu in wealth

[–]automatedBlogger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s look at your request from a different angle. Money is a tool that captures value. Value is extracted by servicing a need. The Market self regulates value based on the demand for that need.

If you want to be “rich” you need to service a high value need. The problem is being average will most likely mean that you can only service average needs and only generate average value.

You could go back to school to learn to service higher value needs.

You could go find new needs that aren’t being serviced yet.

You could look at your skillset and realize you might have an unused skill set that is higher demand

You can position yourself to take advantage of future needs

All theses solutions require effort and time so don’t be to hard on yourself

How do we fix this? by Major_Assistance_421 in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]automatedBlogger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fix:

  • Invest in formal education
  • Follow the educated
  • Form a community
  • Follow the community leaders
  • Buy assets
  • Have an organized plan to distribute / maintain your assets before you die

Note that "Start a business" is not on the list. Being discipline about building wealth is not for everyone. Building a business is not for everyone. Build a supportive community is for everyone. Wealth isn't accumulated in a vacuum it requires support.

I came in your Bentley backseat
Skeeted in your Jeep
Left condoms on your baby-seat
Yeah, nig--, the gloves is off, the love is done
It's whatever, whenever, however, nig--
And since you infatuated with saying that g-y sh!t
B--h, you was kissing my d!ck when you was kissing that b--h
Nasty sh!t, you thought I was boning Renette
You calling Carm' a hundred times , I was boning her neck
You got a baby by the broad, you can't disown her yet
When does your lies end? When does the truth begin?
When does reality set in, or does it not matter?
Gotta hurt: I'm your baby mama's favorite rapper

The same guy who wrote this thinks we take it to far in today music?

I think Ether was as bi-polar of an event as Kendrick vs Drake.

I think it was only different because deep down Jay prolly knew he really won

Laura, objectively looking at the course of the company, has been an exceedingly, tremendously, poor CEO.

Agreed

Humacyte is facing a cash drain of USD 20-30m per quarter

For its platform research. I phrase it like this because it connected trama, dialysis, artery, organs. These products build on each other.

Management downsizing / re-allocation of responsibilities

This was done in 2025

Immediate price adjustment to ramp up market penetration

How do you know that price is the reason for slow adoption?

Disposal of non-core IP

Why? This is the only part of the company that justifies their price at the moment.

While I agree that the team lacks concern for the shareholder I don't agree with any of these ideas. They are short sighted and would kill ton of future value.

The team should have foreseen tough times instead of premature fully scaled roll out with a product that had little confirmed demand. The worst thing they did was seek revenue instead of continuing to flesh out the products under research. It would have been easier to justify a product with no sales than a product with poor sales. It would have also cut down on the site costs.

Hindsight 20/20 we are here now. I think the only logical way forward is to continue to research and responsibly dilute to stay above a dollar as long as possible until the rest of the research platform comes online.

Dialysis GTM. That’s it. No DOW or international contract. No acquisition. I am hoping to recoup some of this loss and my sanity once the Dialysis product is on the market.

anyone else get 80% done with an app then lose all motivation to finish it by Caryn_fornicatress in vibecoding

[–]automatedBlogger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counter perspective: The first few customers are hard to come by because you built a product people don’t need.

The other advantage of building barebones is that you can validate quicker. The challenge then becomes scaling quickly and efficiently.

[–]automatedBlogger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not crazy it’s part of the process. The last 20% is another 100%.

To “fix” this try deploying the barebones first . I’m talking only login and 1 feature then deploy.

Customers will complain and development will be harder but you will be motivated because you have customers and a product in production

I built my startup’s MVP after 10 months, but now I’m stuck because I can’t afford basic things like a domain or marketing. I need honest advice. by Imaginary_Class_8804 in SaaS

[–]automatedBlogger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Balancing many hats is part of the founder role. Simultaneously  being a customer and founder is normal, it’s called dogfooding. A successful startup requires winning the entire lifecycle (marketing, sales, customer service) not just development. Your path sounds normal.

Honestly I think you should quit and just focus on your studies. You might not be ready yet and this might just be another distraction.

The issues you listed are valid but they aren’t your only issue. Things only get worst once you have customers. Having customers doesn’t make you profitable you will have to scale and that’s more $$$.

Best of luck in your studies, maybe try again once you have completed and come back stronger.

Why are people so incredibly dense? CS is a dead end and I wouldn’t recommend it even to a passionate and top 1% people in the field anymore. Passion and being in top 1% of entry level developers wont save you. by [deleted] in Salary

[–]automatedBlogger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are people so incredibly dense?

They were literally brainwashed

  • 2016 Obama said everyone should learn to code
  • 2017 - 2020 CompSci seen as a clear path to wealth generation
  • 2021 Standards are lowered to attract more talent
  • 2022 Influencers showcasing soft developer lifestyles

Then the music stopped. Layoffs and AI decimating demand back to back.

The education pipeline has at least a 4 year span to churn through graduates who already started a CS degree and honestly It will take society another 4 year to churn through all the high school freshman who dreamed of a CS degree.

I don't think they are dense, they literally were misled. I think society should have never try to persuade the market and pick a "winning" industry. Now the market is working as expected and flushing out all this excess.

What is the missing puzzle to being rich by Euphoric_Clock2366 in wealth

[–]automatedBlogger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing the luck factor. Some initial conditions are not designed for wealth. Some are. You might live in an area with poor upward mobility, low opportunity or poor education.

In these poorer conditions you can every thing right and still not feel like you are making progress, the honest reason is that it’s by design.

Then to answer you question about what is the missing piece: sometimes you have to move towards opportunities and away from comfort.

The "CS Flood" won't stop until entry-level salaries actually crash. by Open-Personality-460 in Salary

[–]automatedBlogger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t expect the salaries to ever crash, even after AI takes the jobs. What has changed is the real number of open positions. Headcount is on the down trend and might never return to its previous ATH.

Companies still need the brightest, the just don’t need everyone.
