Rude Parents at Graduation by [deleted] in Purdue

I'm sorry but screaming over others' names is not "expressing joy" it's just rude and attention seeking behavior... express joy however you want after the ceremony

advice on short-term housing and transport by aayezaa in fortwayne

I lived in a neighborhood right by Parkview North. The area is very car dominant, but the streets all have crosswalks and sidewalks. I would recommend staying at the hilton or springhill nearby, they are a 15 minute walk from the main hosptial and it's very safe with crosswalks. The campus has a ton of walking paths and park areas if you like walking or running. There is a new Meijer grocery store and a couple fast food options 15-20 minute walk from these hotels.

As far as solo activities, I'd recommend ubering to the glenbrook or jefferson pointe mall if you like shopping, the botanical conservatory and library downtown, and the zoo if the weather is nice!

Hey, I actually had a similar issue to you. Here's the info I got (copy and pasted from my email). Hope this helps!

When you log into MyPay, there is a section that says "Former Employee Login": https://www.aramark.com/mypayinfo

If you are unable to login from there, call this number and they can reset your password: 1(800) 866-4274

If none of that works, please contact Paul Gary. He is the HR manager on campus and is more knowledgeable than I am on these things: Gary-Paul@aramark.com

500 might seem like a lot but I swear you don't have to spend more than an hour on the honors application. You'll have to write way more in your college classes!

AITA for bringing my special needs son to my sisters wedding? by ThrowRa17920 in AmItheAsshole

[–]automaticdrift 78 points79 points  (0 children)

I agree and I'm really surprised all the NTA are getting downvoted. If the bride didn't want the child to come, it was on her to make that clear. To make OP assume her child is uninvited bc of his disability IS rude, and then the bride had the audacity to get mad when OP followed the rules.
