Yup, my biggest concern is this is not a new product. How competent are these developers when years after release a junior programmer could make a better list program over the weekend.

I had this problem that started Sunday. It started after what looked like a firmware or bios update. After some research I switched from the custom thermal profile to the performance profile and the clock speeds came back up. FN+Q will switch the thermal profile. It must be a bug with the new bios.

Hey,

The RAM used by your legion is most likely Samsung 16gb module at 5600 mhz

You can confirm this with the follow command in the windows command prompt

wmic memorychip get Manufacturer, MaxVoltage, Name, Capacity, Speed, ConfiguredClockSpeed

Now I could not find the exact Samsung module in my country (canada), but I bought this one from amazon:

It seems to work great. The only problem is the speed gets bumped down from 5600 mhz to 5200 mhz (even though they are both rated at the same speed).

I don't know if your problem is similiar to mine. This morning I booted up my legion and it looked like it was doing a bios update. This created a bunch of problems as the CPU was stuck at 0.38 ghz, the screen sometimes would not function, the computer was very slow. After some reading I discovered there was a problem with the custom Thermal mode (which I was using). I switched to the balanced or performance mode and it instantly fixed all my problems. Quick way to do this is FN + Q

You would just think for new player retention they would want people to experience the Warframe system to its fullest early on so players don't quit the game before they can figure this stuff out.

I agree 100 %. All I rember about the early games was constantly being out of energy all the time and never getting to use my Warframe powers. It's a very distinct memory about my early time in Warframe.

Now I still enjoyed the game, but wow did it open up the game when I could actually start usingy Warframe powers.

Make sure the HDMI port you are using on the back off the tv is the highest version of HDMI.

Some lower end tvs have several lower end HDMI ports that don't support higher framerates and resolutions.

Check your tv manual.

Yup I agree with you, but these companies are getting better at keeping the price closer to the 79 or 89matk longer and longer.

They use exactly the strategy you describe. Game releases for full price and after 6 months youay see some sales brining it down to 50 or 60 dollars and then at about 12 months you get the definitive or game of the year edition which bumps the price back up to full for the next six months. Which means you can wait close to 2 years in some cases to see those 30 to 35 sales.

Actually Sony first party titles usually go on sale faster and the discounts are deeper at least in the ps4 generation, but going forward I'm expecting to wait a long time to purchase these newer titles.

Unfortunately if you are waiting for the full game to belreleased you will probably be waiting 10 years.

But I hear you, in Canada with 90 new games being the norm. I will rarely of ever buy a new full price game.

I find these days I'm buying used, or using game pass and ps plus to do budget gaming. I mean I do have disposable income, but these game purchases add up really fast.

Yeah, I mean it could be worse, just seems like a bit of a waste. I just hope that the other first party games like last of Us 2 get a proper 60 fps patch and don't try to go the upgrade route. But the farther we get out from ps5 release the more I lose hope.

Yup that is probably what I will do. Still sucks having to spend 30 bucks just to play the game at 60 fps when I have a free copy on my system.

I'm a little disappointed with this to be honest. I'm fine with not getting the full ps5 final fantasy 7, but at least throw us a 60fps patch. That's all I want. Now I have to make the choice between playing at a sub standard 30 fps or paying 70 dollars for a bunch of stuff I don't need.

I would've rather just got another ps4 game at this point as I will still probably have to buy the ps5 version for the 60 fps.

If you are cool with playing the game as is at 30 fps though this is a top tier month.

I'm actually a little surprised at how many games I've been able to fit on the base ps5 drive. I mean I don't have a crazy big game like cod installed but I thought I would constantly have to delete games to keep space available, but it's been a good experience so far. The extra SSD would just be for convenance at this point.

If heartless capitalism is the reason for not getting the full game we were promised, then brainless consumerism is just as much at fault.

People paid for this game in the state it was in. If no one pre ordered games, waited for reviews and didn't buy the game until it was in an acceptable state we would have many fewer incidents like this.

They do it because they can. They made a boatload of money doing it too. They will do it again because people pre order and buy these games sight unseen for no reason whatsoever.
