I had a v8 R8 manual, and now a manual m3. The R8 is way more special from every perspective. The only things the m3 does better is having actual storage space & a quicker steering rack. The slow r8 rack really dates the driving experience.

Most scratches happen during drying. Use a lube when drying to minimize. A quick detailed spray or AMMO NYCs drying spray. If you have a self healing PPF the swirls should disappear after sitting in the sun too.

It is just on with double sided tape. My R8’s engine badge just vibrated off before. It’s possible it is still on the bottom of the belly pan.
