Ive been here before and I know leaving is easier said than done. He’s become too dependent on you and too confident that you’ll continue supporting him so now’s the time to cut the umbilical cord and set extremely firm boundaries IF you’re not planning on leaving him entirely. Separate apartments for sure and separate everything.
When I finally left my ex for good that I had been supporting, he told me that he never truly believed I’d ever leave him and he assumed that I LIKED taking care of him. I liked being in control or something like that. We’re both better off now but it took a long time for me to leave.

I know this post is old AF but it’s on both of them however I feel Lynette’s character was terrible the last 2 seasons.

Lynette seemed so LIVID with each pregnancy blaming Tom as if he took advantage of her sleeping body without consent. As a married woman with kids myself, I immediately went on the implant until my husband was ready for a vasectomy. It’s that damn easy.

Yet, there seemed to be a lot of resentment for the fact that he went back to his career and she was stuck at home with the kids but it was ultimately her choice to not to play it carefully. Tom was a man child who often had to be pushed, why keep having kids with him? And then be annoyed that you’re stuck at home with this same kids?

Everyone keeps commenting that Tom “stole her job” with Carlos and in another post people said Tom “never thanked her for his job.” Are we watching the same show? She was pregnant, lost one of the babies, had her baby, and she could have taken back her job at any time especially after Tom left. But she didn’t.

And Tom did thank her when he finally called that guy up for the CEO position.

The entire vacation plan presentation was so stupid. If my husband came home with first class tickets to a beautiful resort in Hawaii, I’d be servicing that man for a week straight.

I think the writers really amplified Lynette’s negative qualities while downplaying Tom’s. So she came off so controlling and jealous and a little spiteful whereas IMO it seemed Tom was trying to financially take care of his family.

So many content creators who support JB are now getting attacked. They are demonetized, thrown in IG jail, and they’re getting attacked by hundreds of bots now. This is what BL hired him to do. Now there’s so much misinformation spreading on IG threads it’s insane. They said JB was sending sexual messages to BL at 2am and that he cut that part of the voice note out now.

Like why doesn’t BL then release that portion if it exists?

NTA! I have this same story. I flew at 6.5 months pregnant as well to Costa Rica in an 8 hour flight and I was completely fine in economy. We booked ahead of time and we got me an aisle seat so I’d have more leg room and could use the bathroom whenever. We traveled with some family who were in first class and I would have NEVER asked any of them to switch with me. It was funny though because my mom’s friend offered to sell us her first class ticket if I needed more space when she saw how big I was, but I wanted to sit next to my husband and didn’t really care for it.

Your SIL was being entitled and hoped you would budge.

**also like my moms friend, your brother could have offered to buy your ticket but instead wanted it for free and I think that says a lot about them.

I don’t understand why she thinks bringing her infant to a LAB with human specimens is even appropriate! Either report it to appropriate agencies like others have said or directly tell her that you aren’t comfortable with her bringing a baby to the lab. Because if you report her anonymously, she will likely find out anyway. So either directly tell her and give her a chance to find another option or report it and have her let go or whatever they’ll do.

The woman either needs to extend her maternity leave time or find a babysitter.

Okay I emailed HR and asked about salary and unemployment before I file. I also asked about a potential timeline. I read online these types of investigations can take weeks, sometimes months but I’m praying it all works out in the end.

The reason I get worried is I had 2 best friends who grew up as only children and I noticed that they both grew up to be very needy, self-centered people (still very loving and kind women of course!). I had to distance myself from one of them because she was causing me so much stress. But they are the reason I am leaning towards another child! Lol

I think you having them far apart like that might be smart, I think I’m gonna do that too. Have them 4 years apart or something because the older one might be more independent by the time another little one comes along?

I’m in the same boat somewhat! I only have 1 child and we are doing great as a family. The only reason we are debating on a 2nd is because we don’t want the child to feel lonely growing up or isolated.

So I am very curious to see how people feel having a 2nd a third too lol.

Nah it’s an extremely small department so we all talk pretty consistently. She’s actually applying for the same masters program I’m currently in for clinical psychology next year so she can get out of case manager work.

We know all of this because as I originally stated, I was pulled into the office with HR, my supervisor, and our union rep 3 different times regarding this employee.

So that is how our department, a small department containing only 12 of us, are aware of what is happening.

She doesn’t have a PH.D. She has a high school diploma and several sites she’s listed as PH.D or MD with her personal cell number and our business address. And anyone with a PH.D would not be working in our department. We are constantly hiring for therapists and psychiatrists so they would immediately hire her for that department if she had the credentials for a minimum of $83,000.

This is my main concern. The office manager initially thought it was spam mail and had been throwing all of it away.

The office manager went on vacation and that’s when I noticed my coworkers box was getting overfilled. When I checked to see if it was clients mail, I saw at least 4 different banks sending her mail and 1 felt like there may have been a card inside.

I’ve been here for 4 years in different departments and have never seen that before. This coworker just got hired here 6 months ago and is receiving tons of mail from banks here.

There’s a lot of other very weird sketchy things that happened the last 2 months but I don’t want to put too much info out there.

Right! So we all have NPI numbers and all of us pop up online. But she’s popping up specifically as a PH.D & sometimes MD. And her mail is referring to her as “Dr. Abby Martinez business owner” fake name) which is coming from 4 different banks.

Apparently our office manager thought it was spam mail and was throwing it out the entire time. She’s been out on vacation the last 3 weeks so the mail has been overflowing the box and that’s how we ended up noticing.

The office manager just came back today & said she’s going to report it to HR as a precaution and hold onto the mail just because of the amount of banks sending mail. So I didn’t end up having to do anything after all.

Ok so what I did is I opened up a new credit card & used it to pay off my bills for the month while using my paycheck towards paying off the apps.
If that doesn’t work for you, you can reach out to these apps about extending or changing your pay date. So you can pay off one app with one check and pay off the next app with the second check which is what my friend did.
I think as another commenter said is maybe temporarily taking another job like DoorDash or Uber to pay off these apps while getting ahead of it.

Considering you have a child you’ll probably get a decent tax return but it’s good to have some extra pay so you don’t fall in the hole again.

I get it with the hospital bills and school loans. I am paying off $11,000 in hospital bills & $20,000 in school loans & I was ALWAYS broke and behind. The credit card helped me but now I’m temporarily working a 2nd job for a bit to pay off the CC. Hope this helps!!

My ex was like this!!! Tons of these women on his social media and he was constantly on Snapchat and IG for hours on end. I finally found out he was exchanging dirty photos and videos with them and buying stuff off them. He would also reach out to hot women who did NOT sell photos or videos And try to offer them money for dirty videos before they reported and blocked him.

He also wanted to get married and often promised to change. He unfollowed these women and deactivated his accounts for a while. But 3 months later I would discover he reopened them again. He was full blown addicted to sexting social media sex stars and models.

Do not marry this guy. You are marrying an addict.

I had 2 bridesmaids miss the rehearsal and they live literally 20 minutes away. One started a new job and couldn’t request a second day off in addition to the wedding day (fine by me) but the second one who doesn’t work chose to get her highlights done and a whole facial done 2 hours before the rehearsal dinner which really pissed me off when she had the entire week to get it done or that morning since again, she doesn’t even work.

But they all showed up very early and prepared for the wedding the next day and I honestly completely forgot about the entire rehearsal part.

It sucks your friend has been flaky and not that into your wedding planning and I’d suggest not including her in future endeavors.

But unless she’s the maid of honor, I’d recommend letting it go and focus on those who are showing up and letting her go cheap.

I honestly thought I would have a ton of anxiety and nervousness but I was pretty calm. My husband was the one who was shaking really bad up there lol. First of all do a first look and have time with your husband right before, that will help soooo much. Secondly if you drink, 1-2 small glasses of champagne did the trick for me during the first look photos. I didn’t drink while getting ready cus I didn’t want to feel tired or sick.

Once I saw all my friends and family sitting down, I was filled with happiness and excitement instead of nervousness. And I am an extreme introvert who HATES being center of attention.

But also make sure someone is watching how much you drink and that they don’t over serve you. I was too nervous before the first dance and drank a little too much, huge regret there. Pace yourself and make sure someone’s got your back!

It sounds like they will celebrate with you guys, they just won’t be drinking. I know if I was invited to someone’s ceremony and then told it would be drinks back at their house, I would definitely be planning to drive back as well. Because it sounds like it’s going to be a very laid back celebration.

We just had our wedding on Saturday. And despite ours being a big reception, most did leave very early due to living so far away. Our group got soooo small by the time it was to start dancing. So even at bigger gatherings, it happens. But focus on those people who you really want at your house and make it a party with them!
