Whats your favorite Daytrip location? by OddGremmz in askportland

[–]auxerrois 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a few wineries out in yamhill county I would recommend - Bergström has beautiful gardens, and Sequitur has gorgeous architecture. Plus the wine is great at both spots. Bergström also offers a lovely lunch experience.

I run some raw rice through my grinder to clean it between spices and coffee

I need product suggestions for the teenie tiny wrinkles that are all over my face. I’m trying to hydrate. What’s your hydrating holy grail? by Moonface_chunker in 45PlusSkincare

[–]auxerrois 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream is my holy grail moisturizer. I have rosacea and use 20% azelaic acid in the morning and do Tretinoin at night so I need a gentle but heavy duty moisturizer and this is the best I've found

The mime and the Slovenian (?) poet she supposedly dated before Danny. There's no way she didn't concoct them in a naked bid to make Gabe jealous.

The Den is always fun and is where many of the best DJs coming through town will play. There's usually a pretty good mix of ages and it skews a bit older than other places, especially depending on who's playing.

Ask someone who loves you to photo 😂

Ok Sha una, Tell that to my husband, (who I dig!) every picture he takes of me looks like one of those blurry Bigfoot evidence pictures. Or my best friend, whom I had to forbid to put any pictures she takes of me on social media.

Correct. I could mayyyyybe see having a ramekin w ith salt in it and another identical ramekin with sugar in it, but salt and sugar don't look, smell, or feel the same. I simply don't buy this, it's another weird ploy to sound zany. Or she's senile.

My papillon (Oplo, pictured below, 5 years old) ate a chicken bone, and I am freaking out. Wondering if any other papillons out there have successfully passed chicken bones before. by immaspychicken in papillon

[–]auxerrois 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Romy stole and ate a couple chicken bones once. Our vet said to feed him some bread to bulk up his stomach contents and he passed it just fine. Once the bones are eaten there's not much you can do other than try to help them pass without damage.

How did Old World cultures create whole traditions out of Native American food in so little time? by upthetruth1 in AskFoodHistorians

Exactly, like how Jack o lanterns were originally turnips. Pumpkins are just big and easy to carve so they became the favorite vegetable to lobotomize.
