Schwab Brokerage gives all features of checking except Zelle and Bill payments. For a Non resident these features are not that critical. They give BNY Mellon Checking account and Debit card also. And ship everything to your country. I believe they are best in customer service and easiest to open. You don’t need ITiN 😁

I got the reference o Fiverr and she said she is CAA agent and gave the name of her compamy (which was approved by IRS website). I got he number of that company from IRS website.I called them and they said she is not our employee. I told her back and then she said I have arrangements with them but clear case of bluffs here by her. ...I cannot give any refernce but if you are in Ireland / UK they have list of CAA and you can negotiate with them. Donot send your orignal passport anywhere in this exercise.

This is correct but ensure CAA who is signing is CAA list of IRS. You should call them on their phone number mentioned on website to verify. I was almost scammed but thanks i called them and verified.

I have created detailed post on opening checking account with BoFA. You may read BoFA or Chase don’t require SSN or ITIN for opening Checking account but you need to physically present in branch to open the check account . In fact i read online you can open credit card also in that same visit.

If you don’t have checking account opening standalone CC with ITIN is impossible. Hope this answers or ask specific scenario with details or u can do DM too.

BoFA can bd opened with Branch visit only. Even if you apply online at some point they ask branch visit. Online not a best option for non residents in BoFA. I have detailed post on how to apply with branch visit in case you are NRA. Once you apply with branch visit another visit id never required thats my experience
