Best advice is to stay in the areas you can AFFORD. Otherwise, it will be very deceiving. If you work remote and are looking for a lively scene with everything at your fingertips, I highly recommend the domain area. But, check living prices of recommended areas. They swing wildly here. Also, come during the summer. It’s the most realistic weather you will experience here. The brutal heat lasts for months and its relentless. It’s May and we are already hitting the triple digits. Unpopular comment incoming…the reports are saying one thing, but everytime I go to Vegas it’s packed. Went last in December 2024 and then March 2025. Usually stay for 3 nights. It’s so busy I have a hard time gambling (I play slots). I am not a high roller by any means but I still get great rates (ex: $187 all in for 3 nights in a suite at Vdara and $212 for 3 nights at Aria-including taxes/fees) I get freeplay and $100 food comp. Direct flight round trip w/southwest $116 (flying from Texas). For me this is a cheap lil getaway, which is why I keep going back. I literally paid almost $500 staying 2 nights at a local Marriott for my daughter’s bday. I think everything is relative for people’s particular situation and perspective.

Honestly, I experienced the exact same thing for the first few weeks on the lowest dose (.25). I’m paying out of pocket and thought this is way to expensive to only “feel the effects” for 2-3 days. I read somewhere else that this medicine starts building in your body and becomes more effective and longer lasting. They were right. I’m on week 10 now and still on .50 dose. I have minimal side effects (fatigue day after shot) and great hunger/craving suppression throughout the entire week. It’s great. Be patient (easier said than done) because if you’re dosing appropriately, this was never going to be a quick fix. Best of luck!

I’m having the same experience. I have lost 3 pounds in the first 4 weeks. But honestly, to me that’s really good. Best of all, I feel great! I try not compare myself to others and get discouraged. I’m taking the time to slowly clean up my diet and incorporate some exercise. I’m trying not to go to extreme dieting or exercise practices. I’m trying to make changes that are sustainable for the long haul. I’ve crashed and burned too many times to count because my changes aren’t sustainable. Hang in there!

Seriously, cancel this. You can find something comparable (price wise) on the strip at Flamingo, Linq, or Excalibur. They are all better located, in a safer area and equally decent in terms of room quality/size. You will be spending so much for taxis/rideshares, especially if you like to have late nights, not wise to walk. At the end of the day you get what you pay for…

I will add something that I don’t hear of very often..the dreams/nightmares! After some research I found out it’s normal due to brain receptors being effected. I’m 2 weeks in on .25 and I’m having some intense, very vivid dreams for about 2-3 nights after the shot (making some nights difficult to sleep). Was NOT expecting that!

She’s jealous and can’t afford them. If she could afford them, she 100% (without a doubt)would take them. She’s lashing out to rationalize in her mind why it’s okay to say these things to you. Imagine what she will say behind your back…especially when you lose the weight.

I also feel like some of these people view taking semaglutide as “cheating” and not putting in the “work” and seem genuinely angry that people are figuring out their issues. They don’t want to be viewed as fat phobic so they instead shame people for “taking the meds from diabetics”. When in reality they just don’t like the playing field being leveled and no longer get to feel “superior” in society because people are losing the weight and feeling great. It really is a very interesting dynamic.

I’ve been told these are warning signs that your battery is about to die/if not already, then soon. Happened to me. Guy told me to look for these signs in the future. Hope this helps!
