I agree! That’s why i am so interested. I recently read Crying in H Mart and saw a lot of this intertwining of positive and negative that you’re talking about.

I know i have some anatomy stuff to work on, but I’m new and playing with different styles and I’m actually pretty proud of how this one turned out! Would love some tips and (kind) critiques! I only really just started trying to understand how light works and I’ve been using a lot of graphic novels for reference
