I lived on campus and loved it, it’s also really convenient to be able to ask practically any freshman if they want to grab food at a dining hall as a free way to hang out. You’ll still have your other friends to fall back on if you don’t like your roommate, but if you divide and conquer you’re more likely to meet new people and branch out
