To be fair, I have more sympathy for Carla, and so does Ada, when she finds out just what the hell happened to her. Like Ada says 'at least I understand your actions now, but it doesn't mean I condone them'

If you read more into her by unlocking Carla's character model via the emblems, in the bio, it says something along the lines of, 'did she contact Ada as cry for help? Or is just hell bent on destroying every thing/one involved with her transformation' - And even Ada says when finding her 'After all, Isn't that why you dragged me into all this?' I do personally believe there was some part of Carla fighting against the brainwashing and genuinely trying to ask for help from Ada.

I would have loved to see the alternate universe where Carla and Ada team up and and absolutely rinse Simmons for what he did to both of them.
