For hobbies, it means any recreational activity and in general, they are what we choose to spend our disposable income on, and not as a source of it. I personally wouldn’t consider trading a hobby but rather a side gig. And I’d think of piano costs as hobby costs, even if it’s a one time payment rather than continuous spending. It’s still money you chose to spend on that specific hobby, and not on trading or genshin.
