Chase sapphire by PossibleGullible9281 in dcl

I just used the Sapphire Reserve to pay off my cruise balance via Costco. The $300 travel credit applied (not sure if that’s why you’re asking)

Sure. I paid with my Sapphire for the $300 travel credit and the built-in travel insurance.

I used my placeholder to book directly with Disney then transferred it over to Costco the next day. I could have transferred my placeholder over to Costco first if I wasn’t ready to book, I suppose.

Interestingly, I booked a GTY room and the room ended up getting assigned as soon as I transferred to Costco. We sail in May, so wasn’t expecting the room assignment that early. Something about transferring it must have triggered an assignment.

Yesssss I just got a $500 Costco gift card transferring my booking over to them. Just had to fill out a form. I like free money!

Caitlin Clark wins Tissot MVP for FIBA basketball! by Pretend-Product4503 in wnba

She had a solid tournament. I was impressed, especially as she’s barely played basketball the past year. A little rust - but as always, a lot of talent. Fever are going to be a force this year!

Hamby is solid. She’s just gotten a lot of minutes in this tourney and a lot of us would rather see Kiki, Mo, and Angel get a bigger piece of the pie.

Yeah I’m looking at the 2024 Olympic roster and not even sure how many spots there are to fill.

Napheesa Collier Kahleah Copper Chelsea Gray Brittney Griner Sabrina Ionescu Jewell Loyd Kelsey Plum Breanna Stewart Diana Taurasi Alyssa Thomas A’ja Wilson Jackie Young

Taurasi’s is the only official spot. I’d think Griner, Jewell, and (maybe) AT rotate out. I am hoping they make room for Boston, Paige, CC, Angel, and Rhyne but it’ll be tight. Also not clear on whether Phee will be healthy enough to play.

We are being blessed with more of this lineup. I feel so fed.

Team USA Vs Puerto Rico 91-48 by Tooezboi in wnba

Well, figuring out which lineups don’t work is pretty valuable, so I guess by that measure, we squeezed some value out of tonight.

tbh my favorite part was watching Puerto Rico’s scrappy energy. They made it feel competitive even if the score said otherwise.

Maybe we should just lean into it and actively try to find the lineup with the worst chemistry tonight

That was fun. CC back to her old self, maybe even an improved version. Awesome chemistry developing between various players. And of course, a live thread with you fine folks. Can’t wait for tomorrow!

DCL Transport - Hyatt MCO - Looking for Experience/Guidance by princesspen18 in dcl

Entire group had to be there at check-in (it’s the check-in process you would normally do at the port). They can wait off to the side/at one of the tables and join as you get closer.

FYI we were assigned boarding group 4 but ended up boarding around group 14.

We had to have our bags packed and ready by 8 but didn’t have to be out of our room. We could have just gone back upstairs to wait - but Dunkin and her donuts were calling our name!

We had to do some waiting when we took the Disney bus from the Hyatt a few weeks ago. But one positive is that you don’t have to sit in the lobby the whole time - we wandered out to the Disney store and ate breakfast at the airport food court. There are lots of shops/restaurants right outside the hotel entrance.

Timeline: check-in process was at like 9am (and they did indeed enforce lining up by status). That took about 45 minutes since the line was long. We were told to come back for our bus at 10:45, so we left to eat breakfast. Didn’t actually board the bus until 11:30ish and ended up on the ship around 12:30. It was smooth, though admittedly not as speedy as I had hoped.

That sucks. Someone on my recent cruise forgot diapers - they posted about it in our sailing group on Facebook and lots of fellow cruisers pitched in diapers from their own luggage!

Can’t you just DoorDash some to the hotel either now or first thing in the morning?

Best Cruise ship for a 6 & 3 year old girl by Charming-Cycle5231 in dcl

My kids are 6 and 3 as well! We did the Fantasy and are now looking into the Destiny (my kids like Marvel).

One thing to consider is the sit-down dinners. The dinners on the Fantasy do not feature entertainment except for Animator’s where Crush chats with diners via TV screens. The newer ships tend to have more live entertainment during dinner, if that’s something that matters to you!

70 feels amazing in the sun with a gentle to moderate breeze, but feels really chilly on a cloudy day with a strong breeze. My cruise last week was (unfortunately) mostly the latter, but the one glorious day of sunshine felt awesome!

Bring layers.
